Third Person Books

/me also says that he'd just like to talk to other people about books... what ones they liked, why, etc. because he doesn't really know of many books he can read, he's read all the ones he knows of

/me would say just to start by saying what your favorite books are

/me says that the first books that comes to mind that he loves... besides Lord of the Rings - George MacDonald's The Flight of the Shadow, The Last Castle, The Shopkeeper's Daughter, and also The Lady of the Mansion.... oh, and Phantastes, and Lilith.

/me likes fiction... hehe.

/me also likes the Redwall series (Brian Jacques) and Robert Louis Stevenson's "The Black Arrow" comes to mind... he thinks that was the name, anyways....

/me likes stuff written my Michael Creighton (massively misspelled) mostly

/me also reads a lot of general fantasy by David Eddings

/me says George MacDonald influenced Tolkien and C.S. Lewis a lot

/me says he was a preacher, also, and a Christian, though he had some mixed up doctrines...

/me says he lived in the 1800's sometime.

/me likes George Macdonald's Flight of the Shadow but hasn't read much of his other stuff

/me thinks Frank Peretti is pretty good, and she's currently reading Tom Clancy's Without Remorse and that Larry Burkett has also written some pretty good books - she enjoyed Solar Flare

/me generally likes older literature, not new stuf, and definitely nothing with modern technology

/me could recommend some good old horse books, but figures most people would find them boring - even horsey people she knows don't like them

/me thinks that The Flight of the Shadow has a lot about hroses Zoe and Thanatos....

/me says that Thanatos was just mentioned in his pastor's sermon as a word for death

/me wonders if anyone else has read Lilith or Phantastes... those books are kinda strange, but somehow really good - they are allegories, by the way, basically.

/me also read a sorta kid's book, he thinks it was entitled Princess Daylight, and there was another one entitled The Day-Boy and the Night-Girl
