Don't know, this guy just seems to want to call everyone a hateful bigot. The other things he listed are not described as sin in the bible. I'm just thinking this guy just wants to stamp labels on anyone for disagreeing with him. To answer that question, no, it's not true, straights as well as homosexuals defend homosexuality and the same-sex acts. But for the most part, only gay christians will debate this, and only this. But I could be wrong.

I don't have to hide behind other minorities. Homosexuals have been prosecuted to a great extent. The only difference is we CONTINUE to be prosecuted. Every other minority has equal rights, at least in writing. Homosexuals are BLATANTLY denied certain rights.

Please say you are not naive enough to think that scripture is not and has not been used to attack any number of minorities. Scripture has and continues to be used to punish and oppress every identifiable minority in the world: Jews, children, women, blacks, Homosexuals, divorced people, convicts, religious reformers, the mentally ill and so on and so on.

Before you protest about the accuracy of the uses mentioned here please consider the lack of difference between using scripture to justify such things as racial discrimination segregation, forced sterilization, misogyny etc. and using scripture to justify prejudice against homosexuals.
Yes it is an uncomfortable thing to do but it is very necessary. However, one cannot use the bible to excuse prejudice for one minority while at the same time denounce others for doing exactly the same thing.

He has, and usually says the reason that people call homosexual acts sin is because of "personal prejudice and bigotry" when it is nothing of the sort. If you've read all my prejudice filled posts, can you be blind to comments made by this person? I never said people have never used the bible to attack minorities, i've never denied that prejudice and hate do not exist in our world. One can use scripture to justify just about anything, doesn't make it right.
