I became a great-aunt while I was away. Little Gwenyth was 7lbs 15oz. She had to be in the NICU for 2 days for an infection caught by mom and baby. Neither could have visitors for 2 days.
Baby is now out of ICU as of last night. Both are doing well, and receiving visitors.

We thank our Lord for bringing them through that.

How is your shoulder coming? I know this weather we are having doesn't do arthritis anygood.

I got my MRI results back on friday. It looks like I don't need surgery.

We are going to try phys therapy again. I've been trying to move it around more this weekend. Vicodin is my friend .

Was just passing thru the neighborhood and saw the lights on in your kitchen, Seajoy. So very glad to see you're back. Thanks again for the prayer.

I'm very glad to hear that you've dodged the surgery bullet. Be careful with the pain killers though.

Sometimes we all go through the desert experiance. Sometimes it seems that I'm being backed further into the corner and all lines of communication cut off, further isolating me. But just when all the doors and windows are boarded up by the evil one, another appears. Like this forum. Like... you, Seajoy. Thanks for being there.

Yes, our Lord knows how much we can handle. He is good and merciful.

About the pain killers...I have fibromyalgia, and I take pain meds everyday. Not vicodin everyday, though. I take celebrex and cymbalta everyday without fail. I ran out of celebrex for 2 days last week, and could barely get out of bed.

How are things going for you? Moving plans? job? I've been wondering about it.
Oh, and could you pour today? My shoulder hurts.

Changed my hair color...this is closer anyway. Don't want people confusing us!

I'm not sure about what was the problem with mom and baby. Mom got a fever during labor. Mom should get released today, but baby has to stay in hospital. She's on another drug...prayers are needed. She's still in the NICU.

Congrats on the grandniece, am prayting she gets to come home soon.

Glad to hear the shoulder does not need surgery, that had to be a bit of a relief.

Yeah, I thought that since we were in the middle of an ice storm/blizzard I should get more comfortable. Trying to decide if I am going to town this noon. Have another round of bad weather coming in tomorrow night. This last one knocked power out. We had a generator running during the day though. At least we could have heat and hot food. If we turned too much on, it really had to work though.

To answer your questions, not well. I may lose my phone service today. The only way I'll be able to continue it will be to authorize a withdrawl from my bank account, overdrafting it even more. My landlord is demanding that I pay rent on Friday, and I don't know where I'll get it. If just a few of these cars would sell, along with my trailer, things would be much easier. Sigh... so many things, so little money.
Oh, Lord, my faith is weak. Help my faith.

Well, with those (sorry ) sunny and upbeat thoughts... Ah! The kettle is singing. Anyone for a cuppa? I thought perhaps a pot of Plantation Mint today? There's a plate of Mum's Almond Cresents (her recipie, I baked the biscuits) and some packets of Swiss Miss as well. You know, I have a bit of fruit cake here as well. Used Blackberry Brandy this time and it's a change that just might stay.

Think I'll sit down here for a bit...
