Thank you for the robin picture, Ctay. I really needed them today. We are having a gloomy day where I live. Thunderstorm (in FEBRUARY???) this morning, dark enough to make the streetlights come on, then it turned to snow/slush. Probably another month before I spot my first robin.

PreachersWife, Welcome to Farm Country. Looks like you'll get here just in time for planting season.

Studeclunker, I saw on the weather channel that it looks like you have been or will be getting some rain. This time of year, which would you prefer, rain or snow? Or does it matter?

SNOW and lots of it! You see, without the snow, we run out of water in August. It generally doesn't rain from June to October. All we've gotten is the ruddy rain for the last few weeks.:argh: It looks like another few weeks of rain too. Sigh, my order to the weather department got lost again.

Here's some reasons I like winter:

The road from the house was so beautiful that Sunday morning I almost hated to drive on it. Our bridge across the creek:

Those pictures were taken in January. :bbrr: All that snow is now gone.
Spring has it's rewards too, though. We saw this on the way to Lenten services yesterday:

Seems the weather is up and down for everyone. It was warm here too yesterday and is to be warm today. Pictures of snow always look pretty, in a picture. I'm guessing that is a cherry tree. Either way the blooms are beautiful. How is everyone doing?

Well, hubby let the dog in, with poop on Zeb's foot. First he jumped on the sofa then our bed. I'm deciding whether to kick out hubby or the dog! :doh:It has certainly made for a busy morning.

EWWW! When my mom & dad had their schnauzer, my aunt made them a special towel with doggy footprints on it just for wiping off muddy paws.

We're frozen up again after a lot of rain/snow/sleet/mush yesterday. Bright sunshine, but a forecast high of about 16. But mud season is not far away. That means the icy mountains in the parking lots will finally disappear and the crocus will come up!

The joys of animal ownership. The event sounds just awful sea :o
And of course we are the ones running around, chasing the critter out, and scrambling to clean things up so that our house doesn't resinate with the fine perfume of ;). I have to agree with the shed theory, give hubby a few blankets, pack up some food, kiss and hug the dog, then go enjoy the house you just spent hours cleaning :D.

A friend of George's and mine wants to keep a travel trailer here at our place. That way if his wife kicks him out (for a while) he has a place to go. I told him okay and showed him we even have the hookups for him.
Ooh-----what a fancy dog house
