Is it horrible because it's boring, barbaric, or some other reason? I think enjoyment of a televised sport is enhanced by whether or not the person watching it has participated in the sport in the past. Like take me for example. I could watch bowling tournaments all day long. Most people abhor televised bowling. LOL

Yep. That's why I don't like it either. Then again I like Nascar which is a bunch of guys turning left for 3 hours. LOL But then there is that one race a year that is on a road course and they actually have to know how to turn right. LOL

ctay and several others.....football is a wonderful sport of teamwork and stratagy. I've loved it since I was about 8yrs old. It's like a story infolding every week.

My daughter is much like you....she tried to watch a game with our family once. At the 2 minute warning at the end of the game she said "now what's that all about?!" Like, how dare they have a warning right when the game was going on!

Anyway, I love it. I took my son to a game when he was in about 6th grade. It was a day we will never forget. A great mom/son day.

For speed and excitement, there is nothing like hockey, but you have to see it live - TV just doesn't hack it.

Unfortunately, my feet can't take the cold; yeah, I know they now play indoors, but still.... brrrrr

We're Americans!! We hate soccer!!!

And I can't stand hockey, either. You sit and watch a game for nearly 2 hours and end up with a score of 1-0.

I love baseball and football. Oh, and basketball live and in person. On tv I don't care for it too much.

Anybody have an idea on how to heal a burn? I burned my hand in the oven while taking out a pizza the other night, now my hand is pretty red and gross looking.

I've used some anti-biotic ointment and a large bandage for now. I do think it's infected.
