  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I just got out of the sauna where I took my bible with me. Prayers went up as well. Are you in pain too today? I prayed for you also.

So far I'm still hurting very much, but the comfort of talking with Jesus has lessened the burden. It's hard to explain to folks what it's like to hurt every day. I went over to the "chronic pain" forum, but I always feel more comfortable talking with my Lutheran friends over here, so I didn't post over there. I suppose it gets old for you all to listen to me, but I consider you dear friends.

Well, Luv, that's what friends are for. Don't talk nonsense, we're here to help and support one another. That's what the great apostle was talking about when he said we should care for our brothers and sisters in Christ. Besides, if you didn't tell us, what would we have to pray for?

Our Neighbor has some too, but they are Bernadiner.
But they love to .... (I only know a bad word for this in English) in our beautiful flower bed.
