and i am already missing 2 of my real/original teeth!! i do have some other fillings in my teeth as well, and one of the teeth i have is a baby tooth with no permenant tooth under it (as was one of the ones he has pulled)

Got a tooth that has a chunk out of it for over 6 months. Guess I'll have to get it looked at after I get home from the trip.

I'll have it pulled. I don't want to keep trying to save part of it so the dentist can buy his wife a new Beamer :)

Except for fillings I have all my original teeth, except one. Now I'll loose another. Not bad for a junior geezer :)

My Mum used to say that I have an aristocratic jawline and peasant teeth. In otherwords, I have horse-teeth from the Germans and too small of a mouth for them, courtesy of the British side. Oi.:help:

This eventually resulted in six of my teeth being extracted before braces were installed. This got rid of the buck-toothed look, but was excruciating.

I've since had a broken and painful molar pulled and the crown of it's opposite cracked in half years ago. So, I only have a half molar there. My Dentist decided that my wisdom teeth were better than my molars and pulled the latter.

My wife's stallion rubbed me off on a telephone pole and that cost me one of my top front teeth. The dentist put in an implant to replace it. Can't even tell it's a falsie.

So, I guess that means that I'm missing eight and a half teeth in all. The rest are in reasonably good shape. Though I have to use the sensitive tooth paste. Otherwise, everything I eat or drink has to be room temperature. No icecream or hot tea. Yuk!

I had a few friends over for 'tea' today. Thought you all might get a kick out of them:

Well I'm back after being gone 16 days seeing the "west". Lots of "hot" traveling out there. Even in the mountains. 80's and 90's even at 6-8 thousand feet. Nights in the mountains were cool-cold.

Got turned around in Yosemite Park and came out the wrong entrance. Made for an interesting trip. Went places I hadn't planed on.

One of my favorite spots was the Cascades in WA state. The mountains aren't the highest but the lakes made the scenery awesome. Of course Mt. Ranier was tremendous.

Another favorite was the seascapes in Or and WA. Can't afford a retirement place there because of real estate values but I can visit anyway.

Went camping with my son and friends up in the mountains of Silverton OR and saw some beautiful falls.

Did lots of RV camping along the way. Most pleasant places were by the seashore, hearing the surf and felling the ocean breezes. Stopped in Bellingham WA and got info on the Alaska Ferry. Might take that trip next summer with the RV and see my cousin up in Fairbanks AK.

I would have stayed out longer but I developed a transmission leak and needed to get back to fix it. Newer trans are sealed and there is no way to add [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] fluid.

I'm tired....................

Did you get to meet your lady-friend?
Yep
We didn't click. It's different meeting in person than just talking over the phone. Guess the Lord has other plans for me. I just wish he'd tell me what they were. My subscription to the singles site ran out so I'm done with that.

I guess it's good to be back. I actually didn't want to come back because I liked being on the road........or maybe there's just still too many memories here. Guess they'll follow me wherever I go.

Oh BTW--thanks for the welcome. :)

Yeah, it can be tough, but chemistry has a lot to do with these things and it can't be ignored. These things take time and trusting in God's plan is better than trying to force what's not meant to be.

I'm glad you had a good trip and visit otherwise. Keep your head up and have faith. You just never know what might be around the corner. ;)
