The dog is doing ok, she had 3 live ones out there when I went to bed last night, I think that was it, she was more settled and her breathing hard and pacing and panting had quit.

I must be getting old. What is a Wii game? :)

Put two of them together you get a Wii Wii.

Don't play if you are in a relationship. Or at least don't make your significant other create your character.

Why? Well, some friends of ours were playing at a friend's house and her husband created a little plump girl with a ton of makeup that was supposed to be her. She's lost a lot of weight, and doesn't like to wear a lot of makeup.

She was mad. I pointed out that it may not be how he sees her, but how he wants to see her. Click! Apparently, he's told her that if she keeps losing weight she'll leave him. She's not like that. Also, she's not mad anymore and gladly plays the character he made for her.

How funny. My daughter created my Mii character and did a good job.

Do you guys have one, Flip? We really enjoy ours.

No, but I wouldn't mind having one. It looks like lots of fun. :)

Our video games are through the home computer. I thought I was going to lose my husband to Diablo II there for a while, so I learned how to play. For awhile we would go on quests together, until I found out where to find all the cool stuff, so now we play at the same time, but on separate quests. Right now, I'm a Paladin, and he's a Barbarian.

Studeclunker, how wonderful that you can sew. Not many men can. Who taught you? Handy talent to have, what with loose buttons & whatnot.

You think it funny that I'm so short, huh?

Or is that Verizon? Can you hear me now?

Heavens! This thread really gets away from one quickly. Not just in posts, but splitting to new threads!

Bloomer, my Mum taught all three of her boys to sew. I was the only one who really excelled at it though. Really annoyed her when I started to make costumes for the school plays. I made three Ante-bellum gowns for one play that really had her over the top! Two hundred twenty yards of satin, yikes! It was fun having the girls come over for fittings though...;) The guys were a pain.:sigh:

Seajoy, after nine years of marriage to the Robin-ator, not a chance(LOL)!:D :D

Seminarian, who... what was that? Your signal is breaking up.:p

Well, three days and I'm basically homeless. I'll be house sitting for a couple of weeks, but no place of my own. Footloose and fancy free...

Well Jim, it's like this: I've been making my rent by selling my belongings. The work I've been doing has just kept me going and that's all. My intention has been to move out of the place and reduce my expenses. Also, I'm not really losing my home so much as just abandoning an untenable situation. This should have been done months ago. The problem is finding somewhere that's more affordable. I'll have about two weeks here and then something else will have to be arranged.

latebloomer,
Well, Tiger did not get front page as the house fire took up most of the front page. I am guessing that is Tiger on page 9. He is a cutie.

We went to Eburg town for lunch today with friends and it looks like the bikers are already arriving. I am so glad I don't live in town, especially along main streets. I am headed to town to the store, should probably stock up so as not to have to go over the weekend.

You are certainly facing some difficult problems. My son is in a similar situation except we can still help him. God is faithful and will provide. I hope you don't lose your cheery disposition and good mannerisms. Those speak well of you. May God watch over all you do.
