LOL! I thought there was a difference between my wife and myself! She was 5'2" and I was 6'4". The photographer made me sit in a chair whilst Robin stood beside me. Mainly though, I think he seemed to be wanting to get a good shot of her dress. Robin was afraid that a hoop would make her look short and dumpy. She was really beautiful though. Funny, the dress was really plain till I and a friend added over fifty yards of lace and another twenty of purple silk. A full hoop takes yards of material. The dress was my gift to her. Robin was thrilled when she saw it.

I hope the kids have a great day, Seajoy. A wonderful day to start the rest of their life together.

I'm lucky my hubby is 5'9". On the rare occasions I can get him onto a dance floor, I don't have a crick in my neck afterwards. Had that problem with a couple of tall ex-boyfriends. No telling how tall Tiger will get--maybe he'll be my top-shelf-helper in a few years.

Studeclunker, how wonderful that you can sew. Not many men can. Who taught you? Handy talent to have, what with loose buttons & whatnot.

I'm 5'9" and he's 6'4". I can wear heels and not be taller than him.

I'm 5'1" my oldest son is 5'11 1/2" he says, he is tall, I know he's about 6'. My other son is 5' 9". They sure didn't get their height from me

I am so not ready for ABATE. Latebloomer is right on that bridge construction as well as grocery shopping. My son worked at one of the grocery stores during the summer during college and the first year here. The next year, we were in Germany so he missed working that one which he was happy about. Let's just say that some of the people did not know how to dress in public, but since that first year, they seem to have learned how a bit more.

I'm 5'6"+ and taller than my sister. Our mother claims to have been 5'0" at one point, but I have no proof of it.
Maybe god likes the idea of nonuniform family photos.
