I would like to ask for prayers for my son and his fiance this weekend. Both are graduating from college on saturday. The call service is then in the afternoon, where they will find out where the Lord is placing them to do His service in the teaching ministry. They are getting married in June.

Pray also for mom (me) to accept God's will, just in case it isn't close to us.

do you think they will have calls the same place? i mean, was there a place to put "i am marrying this person" so that they would end up with calls to the same place???

It's in God's Hands. One could get a call, or both. We won't know until saturday. Yes, the school knows they are getting married, so one won't end up in New Jersey, and the other in Nebraska.

I don't know about the webcast. She's blond, and he looks like my hubby....if that helps you any!

One hundred seventy-two people are graduating from Martin Luther College, New Ulm, Minn., the WELS College of Ministry. Forty-seven men are graduating from the preseminary program, 122 men and women from the teacher track, and 3 men and women from the staff ministry program.

In this special service, candidates receive assignments to serve as teachers and staff ministers at WELS or Evangelical Lutheran Synod schools and churches. The Conference of Presidents (COP), guided by the Holy Spirit, determines where these men and women will be placed.

Yeah, I'm okay. I went through a struggle earlier this week but I'm okay now. *G* I just love God's Word. Makes things so nice to have it in my life. *happy sigh*

Had a chest x-ray and a blood test today gearing up for my 1 year post treatment visit in June. Blood work is for the coumadin that I take (that I HATE. Poisoning myself once a day just isn't "fun" ya know? ) and I'm hoping that my Doc will lower my dosage.

Other than that, I've just been quiet. Not much to say. Watching the fireworks/flirt fests/fellowshipping 'round here.

Having a hearing loss with range issues, I have this problem with conversations. Sometimes someone will say something and I think, "that just can't be what they said." So I'm often having people repeat themselves. Other times I'll give an answer that is completely off base to what the person said. They usually look at me like I'm from Mars.

Yea I have the same problem only I usually just answer to what I thought I heard. My X got frustrated one time and said "Why don't you just say 'What?'"

I just love it when I get new Logos Software for my computer. I purchased the Original Languages Library and some of the Concordia Electronic Library. I will Luther, Pieper, Walther and others to use just by double clicking on the Libronix icon. I love the seminary life..
