As for DaRev. He just became a grandfather again and could be going to see his family or maybe it is just too busy at the church to spend much time here. I wouldn't worry about DaRev. He's a good man and will be missed.

AHHHH!! I need to vent (what else is new?)

I'm on another board (QuiltAngel is there as well) and just today the site owner posted that discussion about baptism saving should stop now.

I'm INFURIATED!

I messaged the owner immediately concerning this. But meanwhile here I am stewing and ready to completely explode.

I hate wandering to other places. I hate biblical lies.

Folks, I think a wee bit of an appology is due here. I've been under a considerable degree of stress lately and I can see that many of my posts are more tart than necessary. Please forgive my fallen nature.

I too, find the many patient pastors who frequent this venue to be a tremendous blessing. It's why I'm here. This is the only Christian/lutheran fellowship I really get.

I heard that sunday, went to a baptist church. We went to surprise hubby's mom for mother's day.

If they had for, five, six, would they all have come home? What was your limit? My daughter went to Japan and just had to have a dog. Any idea what a little dog costs you in Japan? Take a guess.

Infant baptism does go against all logic. It does not make sense. It is revelation from the Father in His Word.
Without the Holy Spirit, no one could believe this.

See, Lutherans do have the Holy Spirit. We speak in the tongues of salvation!

Ask them to show you one person who made a decision for salvation in the Gospels? Jesus said we must also be born again. How does one participate in their own birth?

Baptism is our birth.

Eph. 1:4 He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world.

I was lucky I talked hubby into these two. He said 1, I'm like but they are so cute. LOL I bet dogs are expensive in Japan.

Happy Wednesday everyone! Tomorrow is Ascension Day. Do any of your churches have a service tomorrow. We are having one tomorrow evening. I hope we can make it. 7:00pm is kinda close to bedtime for our kiddies, so it makes it tough to go to church at that time.
