My favorites change depending on what I'm working on. I've done dishcloths for Christmas gifts as they're fast to work up and people seem to like getting something handmade.

And the things last forever!! You can toss 'em in your dishwasher instead of having to wash 'em regularly too! One of my favorite sites for yarn is knitpicks.com Excellent prices.

Just got a treat in the mail today. My guy bought me a copy of the new Book of Concord! I can't wait to sit and devour it but I've got tons of laundry to do. (I do mine and his.)

I've been ready for a vacation since October!

Looking forward to a little R & R out west in a couple months or so.

So is that out west AND south? Somewhere 'deep in the heart'???

;)

Ah man!!!
WildStawberry, you reminded me that I need to do some laundary!

Oh I'm sorry! I never like to remind others of work! (since I, of course, like to forget about it as much as is possible. *G*)

I was on vacation today. I tried fixing my 60 year old cement mixer but failed. Then I spent 4 hours mixing cement by hand. At least it was a super nice day. I'm hoping I can be outside tommorow as well.

Once my husband and I were conoeing in a pond, and doing some fishing. He always did the paddling.

As we came in to shore, I said "I wish I knew how to paddle...how do you do it?" He then got out of the canoe, and shoved it back out into the pond....and said...."Now paddle!"

Well, I was blazin' mad, as I didn't know what I was doing at all. So of course, I started yelling....got some old guy fishermen to give me glaring looks, as I scared all their fish away.

I did finally get myself to shore after I was all calmed down. My husband...he's quite a funny fellow...is he not?

they just blew up a bridge here -- it is for highway construction (the tamm avenue overpass -- over hwy 40 -- for you "locals")
Tamm avenue?---What's that between? Must be in Clayton. Do you live by the seminary?

Thanks for all the fishing invites everyone. :) our pics are real nice Ctay.

To tell the truth I haven't been fishing in six years and likely won't go this year either. I did get to fish in Oregon about 6 years ago. I won a sales contest and got a free trip out there. We didn't catch any but we did see some monster salmoon, Even bought some equipment but we din't have the right bait of something. There were all running in the river. We did get down to California and up to see Miunt Helen. Pretty country out there. I love those hills and the winding roads around and through the mountains.

Seajoy your story about peddling was funny. I think your hubby may like to tease you Heh? ;)

Have a good day all. I have to go to work. :)
