One really fun game is the Assassin's Creed series. I just finished the third one and can't wait for the fourth one in October. Throughout the series you play an assassin battling Templars. In the second and third ones it mIves from Jerusalem and Acre to Europe, mainly Italy. It's really fun, a lot of puzzle solving and not just killing left and right.

What do you guys like to do to keep busy on rainy days? Our forecast for the entire week is RAIN!!!!

Clean the silver, clean out the closets, rearrange the kitchen, attempt to organize my husband's desk or go shopping. Of course, you could rent some movies you've been wanting to see but haven't had time and make a whole range of comfort food instead. It all depends on your motivation. ;)

Do you have Call of Duty Black Ops. I got it and hadn't tried it yet. Just wondering how hard it is.

I don't have that one. I played the demo level and didn't like it. I don't know how hard it is, but I have a lot of friends on XBox Live who do play it, just for the zombie multiplayer level.

You know... we could use a bit of rainy weather here in beautiful Downtown Fawn Lodge too. Strange that I can access page 58, 60, & 61, but not 59 of this thread.

Actually, a proud-cut gelding is somewhat dangerous. They can cover a mare just like a stallion. The difference is that he's sterile. They are also as difficult to deal with as most stallions.
I wonder, was your gelding perhaps a Monorchid? There are a few of those around who's ball hasn't decended from the backbone and are still getting pumped with the hormones. It can cause problems and get people hurt.

I had an Arab Gelding who thought he still had his. Difference was he was extremely well behaved. I used to own five horses once (team of four and a spare) two of which were mares. My Alpha Gelding thought the girls were his little harem. Made for some embarrassing moments when I released them to play in the arena sometimes...

Studying for a summer anatomy class (16 wks worth of info in 8 wks! Yay!) and refereeing six kids keeps me pretty busy rain or shine.

I just recently rented Call of Duty Black Ops for our Wii and honestly I thought it was overrated. But thats just me.

How ever do you manage a FPS on a console?

The Wii is interesting because you move the controller to aim and use an attachment known as the nunchuck (I'm not sure how familiar you are with the Wii) to control movement.

It's actually easier on a console than it is on a PC, because a console is usually hooked up to some kind of tv. The picture is much clearer and it's easier to see what you're shooting at. Now hopefully the tv isn't so big that you get motion sickness, had that happen a couple of times.

But games like Call of Duty: World at War, Resident Evil, any of the Halo games, except Halo: Wars that was a top-down strategy game, I think Red Dead Redemption was at times an FPS, and Farcry 2, were all easily played on a console. Now I am ultimately going to be getting a flatscreen tv, so I'll have to see how the experience changes, but I don't think it will be for the worse.

I loved Resident Evil 4 on the Wii. Oh and Punchout! But they're phasing out the Wii and replacing it with the Wii U. Have you seen that thing yet? That looks amazing.

No, when I was single I was much more up to date on video games. But I'm just not anymore.
