it's windy as all get-out here ('course i have nothing at all to complain about compared to everybody battling tornadoes), and with the wind, comes the onslaught of the cottonwood cotton blowing EVERYWHERE - it looks like it's snowing here - and now, joy of joys, my nose is going completely BERZERK, and my eyes are starting to water.....thought i was gonna get to bypass it - guess not.....

i'm going through stuff that i wish would just get over with, like, NOW....i feel like i say stuff here and i might as well be wearing harry potter's invisibility cloak.....and i'm so keyed up, excited and nervous about Rev getting here that i can barely eat.....

apparently, i'm a walking disaster!!

Hey all!

My daughter procrastinated on an important 7 page typed paper for AP English Lit. It drives me insane that she's done this! I'll be so glad when school is out for summer next week!!!!!!!!!!

I think today might have been my last subbing day since teachers probably should be there to give the final exams

Well, I was in a pretty good mood this morning till I looked out the window into the garden and beheld utter destruction and ruin. The goats apparently forced one of the gates again and plundered the flower garden. Have I mentioned how I've grown to hate goats?

Understanding why is beyond my abilities. The whole area around here is rampant with all the things they love to eat. Why they go through the trouble to break into the garden is beyond me. there are days I hate living here...

Weird stuff going on in TCL's general forum today. I'm amazed at how some people want to take hold of their own salvation after what Christ has done for us. Where is the comfort in that? I would never sleep.

Ha! I know where you're coming from, Lambie.

Our munchkin didn't put in the hour a day review I suggested this past week for her physics advanced qual. final and when she came home this morning, her mood made it clear she thought she might well have done worse than she should have.
She's already qualified for her university prep courses (called sixth-form here), but still. Had she aced all her science and math qualification exams, her vet school application would have been that much less of a worry. At least she has two years to develop more discipline, buy oy!

All that we can hope is that they learn these now rather than trying to get away this kind of nonsense at university.
