We've ordered Maple syrup from Vermont where the company that produced it made it the old fashion way over a wood fire pit. You can taste a hint of smokyness in the syrup that really adds a flavor. I cut a hole in the middle of my pancakes and pour in equal amounts of real butter and syrup. Syrup without butter is like cake without icing. Then on the side I have pan-seared/boiled spicy Cajun Boudin sausage or Chorizo to add a contrast to the sweet syrup taste. ummmmm.......

Well, after my skills testing tomorrow afternoon, it will be Spring Break for me!! I am looking forward to it. Going to visit my daughter and son-in-law for a few days. Going to have to do some studying too, but it won't be at the pace I have had all semester. Will be nice to slow it down a notch.

Praying for the people in Japan all through the Pacific as the destructive effects spread. I know you're all just waking up to this, but after watching the video coming out of Japan for a while, I'm beyond sad.

Yes, what happened in Japan is terrible. However, we must keep in mind that these things will continue to happen till our Lord returns. Also, these kind of things have been happened there before. Has everyone forgotten Koyto (sp?)? It was much, much worse there. Granted, the tidal action was much less significant. Actually when one looks at 'Tsunamis' the quakes in Chilie and Alaska produced worse. I love how the media hypes this stuff up. Oi vay...

Actually, what happened in Japan pales in comparison to what our Christian brothers and sisters suffered in Christchurch NZ. Gosh, I hope (for once) that bell tower was empty. Chances are though...

Keep trying Sis. You'll get it. I was thinking about your class presentation earlier though. Such a thing is really easy if you bring a lap-top. Just set the directory of pictures into slideshow and let Windows Explorer do the job.

Is it bad to listen to someone reading the bible out loud on youtube instead of reading it from the actual book? I enjoy listening to someone read it out loud.

Well - for those of you who know me - I do get a tad wrapped up in things around here at times. But being accused of being an opinionated, frightening, unhealthy jerk, really gets my blood to boiling. Anyway - I know that is just what he is after - so I must calm down.
