We started last Thursday. It is an exciting semester for me, but there is also lots to learn so it will be a rough semester. Have had one quiz and two tests so far. I have 4 classes for 14 credits.

thats amazing that you've already had tests and quizes. Im excited for my semester but I also feel weird about it because I'm graduating this winter. Its a funny feeling to be so close to completing my degree. It was a long process and at times it felt like it would last forever. But I'm happy that I'm close to finishing.

I am in nursing. Lots and lots of information to study and learn. Two of my classes have a test weekly. 3 of my 4 classes are nursing classes and the 4th one is microbiology.

If you don't see me on here much this semester, that is why. Every now and then, I do take a break from the books.

I'm doing two classes this semester in preparation for my LPN course - Human Growth and Development (online) and Physiology (evening class 40 minutes away). I'll take Anatomy during the Summer session.

I've never done an online class before. There is much more reading than I expected, and no audio/video lectures.

I have not done an online class either. I have done an independent study one. I much prefer having the prof in the classroom.

You will have to let us know how the process is going for you. When might you know that you are accepted in the PN program?

You and Angel have my deepest respect about finishing your education. Wish I could have done so. Then again, even if I had completed the BA on Data Processing, it would have required constant extension courses to keep up with things. Even what I did complete (Technical Certification) required that. Hence the reason I'm no longer in D.P. I wasn't able to keep up.

Snow day!

We have had no plow on our streets and to top it off, they plowed the main road and thus added a whopping pile of snow at the end of ours (which is at the top of a hill).

That was from yesterday. It started snowing about 7am and that photo was from 2:45. It didn't stop snowing until about 8. We have about 5 inches. Now the temp has dropped to like 0 so salting is going to be pointless. The highway I take to work is all snow and ice.
