CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

We went to the Columbus Zoo yesterday and then to Schmidt's Sausage Haus (we planned the trip essentially for the food foremost). I got 4 links of Bahama Mama's to take home and a tub of German potato salad Methinks that will be tomorrow's dinner. Today is hot wings and buckeyes (and a salad). My husband has been wanting to make buckeyes so he's getting the ingredients at the store today.

He decided to make the sausage today instead of the hot wings. The buckeyes he got lazy on and poured the chocolate over. My brother said they look like Elvis balls (because of the way the chocolate cooled). So it's more of an inverted buckeye.

I can relate to you, I have two classes this semester that require alot of work outside of class. you sound like your a good student, you'll do fine.
