  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

I hate any kind of MRI. The first one I ever had was back when my neurologist thought I was having petite mal seizures, turns out I have panic disorder. But the hospital told me that they would not release me until I had this test. They put me in there and it was similar to I imagine being in a very noisy coffin.

I may have lost some hearing during that test. It actually made me claustrophobic. If I ever need one again, I'm going to Glendale as they have an MRI machine that you now stand up in, and it's completely open and I think I would do much better in that kind of a machine. Even the open ones where you still lie down, I don't do well in.

In WI this weekend. It's raining, and my fibro is going nuts. You ever set fire to your own back? Well, that's how it feels today.
There, got my rant done.

Hope everyone is having a good weekend. Mine is going to be lazy - and fun - visiting with great friends.

Ugh, praying for your pain to go away. I have chronic back pain, but I know it's nowhere near how fibro feels.

I'm supposed to golf today...it's my birthday round. They give me free green fees and half a cart. So hopefully my son will get his act together so he can come too...he pays junior rate. We'll golf 18 for about $10, and it's twilight now so we can actually golf as much as we want until it's dark. Right now it's sunny, but there are t-storms in the forecast later today...we'll see how it goes. It's probably the last weekend we'll be able to get out before the weather goes cold and yucky.

I had a screwdriver last night. Kroger's sells it pre-mixed.

If we have time we might stop by Arrow Wine and get Morgan's Spiced Rum and make rum and coke...my hubby tried some at the neighbor house and he said it was awesome. They just don't sell spiced rum at Kroger's.

Morning!!!

HEY I have a new monitor and can now see the things on my computer screen I'm so happy! LOL My other monitor was going out and all I could see were random streaks of type here and there. It was horrible. I'll try to post more often now!
