Revrand, most businesses lease the building they reside in. The tennant has moved on to another location. It is possible that they're still in business, just at another location? Sis, have you tried to contact them by phone or letter?

The bank may still be able to tell her.

I agree with Rev....the only place for me to try is the bank. I just drove past the antique store on the way to drop off my dog at the kennel....before we left on our trip. So I have not been able to do anything about this. I think the place went broke, as the town they are in is smaller than my thumbnail. There is no place for them to go. All the other towns around are the same size (yes, I live in the boonies of MI). I have a feeling my silver is long gone. But I will check if there is a phone# on the sign.

Glad things are looking brighter for you, Ang. Sorry to hear about the consignment fiasco. I don't have much faith in those kind of businesses and have had some really bad experiences with them.

If you get your punchbowl back, try putting it on Ebay. That's where I do my first search for special items and sewing bits and it gives you complete control as a seller. We'll be putting a few items on there soon as we don't want to settle for what the limited clientèle a small shop might attract and I just don't care for the way most of them operate. Maybe it's just me. :sorry:

how is everybody doing tonight? :)

I am great. Relaxing after a busy week. I had to do some school work ahead of time so I could be away on Tuesday. That included an exam that has me studying hard. Tomorrow, am off to the District Pastor's conference with hubby where our esteemed President is the presenter. I have met and heard Pastor Harrison a few years ago and am looking forward to this opportunity to hear him again.

How are you tonight Matt?

I am happy to hear your feeling good. :) I can relate to you on the school work. I have a lot coming up too, I think I will start studying for an exam I have on Friday tonight.

I am good, thank you. I feel pretty happy right now, I cannot find anything at the moment to be not happy about. Lol :) But I am a simple person as far as being happy goes, doesn't usually take alot to make me happy.

Well, we had an extiting time here in beautiful downtown Fawn Lodge last night! An old Mobile Home down by the Highway burnt to the ground about eight-thirty or nine. Sadly, the family of six displaced cuts our population here by a third to a whopping twelve people!;):p

No, seriously, the place was quite a conflagration. Aparently, a gas line ruptured in the house, or there was a leak (It was after all an old M.H.), and the place blew up. Burnt like a bonfire after that taking power and phone service with it. Thankfully, the family that lives there had gone to Weaverville to see the H.S. football game. Very unpleasant surprise to come home to. No fatalities of any kind, all fifteen of the kitties escaped the conflagration with only one getting singed. Even their Pot plants survived.;):p

It was really funny at one point (in a serious kind of way) right as I arrived on the scene. The fire was going through the roof by that time (having only been burning about ten minutes or so), and one of the firemen suddenly started running like mad away from the house, waving his arms like crazy, saying, "Abort, abort... abort, abort, abort!" He was really kicking his knees up and going like he was on fire himself (LOL)! Immediately after there were a loud series of stacatto pops and a boom or two as the Tennant's ammo and guns went up. That really set the surrounding firs and cedar trees on fire. Thankfully, our intrepid CalFire (state) and local firemen were able to contain it in the burning coach and surrounding trees. Only four trees were destroyed. Six or seven were a bit scorched... okay, a lot scorched, but only on the one side, so they'll recover. Once I determined that my neighbors were all right and it wasn't going to spread, I went home. No lights, no phone, so I went to bed.

What an end to an otherwise good day!:swoon:

I'm happy today despite the fact the weather is terrible here in Connecticut, because yesterday I found an old friend of mine on myspace that I hadn't talked to in like 5-6 years. And were probably going to hang out tonight, its exciting because this person was actually a quality friend growing up. Alot of my past friends from my childhood, I wouldn't want to become friends with again. But this person is an exception.

Ugh....I just woke up from a snooze to find them interviewing Jay Cutler. Major bummer.

*side note* I'm stuck with looking at those sweet messages in my rep notes because I can't get them to copy and paste into a PM when the mod asked me to. I tried - but it wouldn't go.
