  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

My husband and I have an appt. to see a cat that is up 'again' for adoption:

Last one fell through because 'Snowball' is shy and the home had kids and then they brought in new kittens (sounds like an extravert, lively home), and her hair started falling out she was so stressed out.

I saw a photo of her lying on her side doing 'curly paw' and she is clearly mellow, sweet-natured, so I have already named her, 'Sugar' (white, sweet like granulated or delicate confectioner's sugar),

and we'll see:

:prayer::crossrc::crosseo:

^^ Welcome prayers, bring 'em on.

I haven't had a cat in the house since the foster kittens (see photo album of em on my Page) and I need to love a live being in the day, every day, and other times when my husband is not home, and also when he is:

I am a very affectionate person, and this isolation is not for me, no sir:

I've given up the 'monastic-wife' experiment--I'm reading John Chrysostom's book called On Marriage and Family Life (makes me very happy to read it with my husband--he reads aloud and we both listen):

I got so many answers to troubling conflicts regarding the best way for me to be a Christian wife and the holiness innate in it if done with the gift of grace.

Oh, a full mind/heart, tonight :)

:hug: :hug: :hug: to all my Friends, and everyone else too here :angel:
