CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Yet again, what makes me happy?
Knowing my Lil' Bro is here--don't you dare EVER go away from CF without giving me contact info, or I swear on my blond hair (yeah, I know my hair is naturally almost black and now it's got tinsel in it, so the swearing doesn't count); so I swear on my blond hair
that I will come to Zaneyville with Zooker my adopted cat and she is badder than Dawnie and me and you put together, and from the feel of her, she loves her food, too!

Not having a tee vee that functions as one.
(We have no cable hooked up; don't turn it on as a tee vee; we use it--sometimes--for DVDs like Michael the Visitor was the last one--narrated by Stockard Channing and based on a short story by Leo Tolstoy: so gorgeous).

a commercial i just saw of all things Tide detergent....what captivated me was the li'l boy maybe 4 yrs old, runnin' through the house with his bull dog right behind him....priceless.
