• Starting today August 7th, 2024, in order to post in the Married Couples, Courting Couples, or Singles forums, you will not be allowed to post if you have your Marital status designated as private. Announcements will be made in the respective forums as well but please note that if yours is currently listed as Private, you will need to submit a ticket in the Support Area to have yours changed.

  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Well before i was a christian i didnt get along with my neighbors i didnt like them and they didnt like me is it ok to still ignore them now that i am a christian? I use to steal from some ( gave the things back ) but is it ok to not talk to them still after all the agurements we had?
Matt 22:39b
"Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself."

Take some food over to your neighbors. Tell them what happened to you and apologize. Our goal is win souls.
Thanks,
TT

With love and respect, brother Doughnut. you can ask this question as many times as you like. no matter how much you don't like the answer, the truth will always be the same. Knottmatt and the others gave some pretty sound advise before, and you heard it again from Texastig... I guess if you ask enough people someone will tell you what you want to hear, but it's probably not going to be in a christian forum.
If it does make you feel alittle better no one says you have to make things right tomorrow, but it should definitely be on your "to do list"
I can tell your really struggling with this. So ask for help from someone who can physically be there, or write an apology letter, there so many things you can do to make things right. the point is you don't have to do it alone.

Start with the people you see everyday, and then go from there. See who or what god puts infront of you from day to day. You don't have to make a "My name is Earl" list, and make amends to everyone on it. But if someone you hurt crosses your path again then what is it going to hurt to applogise for what you did to them?

Also this time try to reply to me and not ignore me and just forget about the whole thing like the last time.
???? On your last thread you only responded to Knottmatt. He was giving sound advise. What was I supposed to say?

Well i stole things from other people also around here but i gave it back when i became a christian should i go to each of there houses and say sorry?
also i got this advice from someone else

Hey Cold...

We've all done things in our past that we shouldn't.

If you are able to restore the property, then do so. If not, then it's between you and God.

As long as you have brought it before God, then let it go.

Cold I'm not going to tell you what to do. Do you feel God telling you what you should do? Ask God for what He wants in this situation.
I think ive done enough with this situation. I am a new man and anything i do from now on that i think is bad i will say sorry for.
