I agree. It is irritating when people use poor diction on purpose.
It annoys me when people don't use the right To, Two, Too; There, Their, They're and your or you're.
The purpose of discussion boards is for people to express themselves through the written word. It's oxymoronic to dislike people who are using it for that purpose.
But then, this is a christian discussion board. And internet Christians are the most intollorant people on the internet. And that too is oximoronic. But, there it is.

5.When people say while watching a film "Did you see that?". No Loser, I paid $12 to come to the cinema and stare at the darn floor.
6.People who ask "Can I ask you a question?".... Didn't really give me a choice there, did ya sunshine?
7.When something is 'new and improved!'. Which is it? If it's new, then there has never been anything before it. If it's an improvement, then there must have been something before it, couldn't be new.
8.When people say "life is short". What the.....?? Life is the longest darnest thing anyone ever does!! What can you do that's longer?
9.When you are waiting for the bus and someone asks "Has the bus come yet?". If the bus came would I be standing here, dork?

People always ask me if I'm indian or native american. I want to hit them across the head and say 'yes, I know that!' Are you naive? If I look like an Indian, maybe I am an Indian. Maybe ask me what tribe I'm from. That's a good question.

Haha...this just happened on another thread (elsewhere in CF, mind you).
I find it annoying when you ask a person to clarify something confusing they just said, and they take offense and give you a snippy non-answer. Such as "If you thought about it, you'd know." Gee, that's sooo helpful ... not ...

Quit Trying, those are the type of people who are not happy unless there is something for them to whine about. Think of it this way, You are helping them be happy when you stop trying to please them since pleasing them is impossible.

That's so true. They carry a little cloud over them where ever they go. I don't try to make things better for them because I agree with what you said. I'm too old to be a 'people pleaser'
