  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Good Morning all!

Over the past week or so , I have been dealing with a lot on my plate.
I have been feeling as if God has abandoned me in a way. But I know that is not the truth.
Thank you to all that have said a prayer for me in a earlier post I made last week.
Things are starting to look up.

This mornings devotional that I read really hit the spot with everything going on.

" Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you." Deuteronomy 31:6

God is with me, the devil has been feeding me lies!!!! God has never left me nor ever will. Things are getting better because of God. Thank you Jesus for all you have done for me!! Thank you God for giving your one and only son to die on the cross for our sins. God is Good all the time!!!

Right. It wasn't until my life started to turn around that I started to realize God isn't a mean man in the sky ready to strike. God lives us and his love is unchanging... God lives us during the good and bad.
