VP Harris has unfortunately acquired an image as the Biden admins ambassador to the "woke" faction of the D party, to keep them engaged, presumably. I agree shes much more than that - and she isnt even that hard left really. She's pretty moderate in fact.

As for the pres, the alternative to Trump would have to be pretty miserable for me to sit that one out. Objectively viewed, Biden has been pretty ok. His values are generally in the right place and his decisions have been mostly fine in the context of political reality. I will make a lot of compromises to keep Trump away from holding power ever again.

In our system we dont get to vote for exactly who we want, unless we're ok with our vote having zero power. We choose who is best for the country from one of two sides. Thats the game we have. Id prefer a somewhat different game, but until we have that I wont let others make the choice for me.

You are right. Biden has been OK. But I also know how liberated I felt when I sat out a recent state election. It grounded me again and took the edge off my polarized outlook on politics. I should likely compromise principles to assure Donald Trump never becomes president again and is forced to face his punishment for his actions. But since the pandemic my attitude on these earthly concerns has changed. Maybe America deserves to feel the repercussions of electing the Donald again. Why learn from a mistake when humiliation dictates we should do it again. I'm learning these worries of a political nature aren't as valuable to me as my faith, love and serenity. And all we are is dust in the wind.

Ideally there should be spot you can stand where you get to participate practically while maintaining your detachment spiritually. I realize thats not always possible for everybody. But I do think its something to strive for.

She wants to be president again, rember Bill
I won't vote for Trump or Biden. Trump's "revenge" rhetoric and divisiveness are not good for this country. I agree with his foreign policy. The only reason I won't vote for Biden is because of Harris. Hillary wanted to be president but she would be better than Michelle because of her experience as a vice president.

Now this is interesting. Hands down Hillary over Harris.
I already consider Hillary to be disqualified because of her e-mail fiasco, and she's getting too old anyway. I'd prefer Harris.
