You got me wrong now! I'm very liberal, but don't consider myself a backslider also. I'm a songwriter and music publisher with BMI, with a gone career in the music biz now, except for royalties. Ezekiel 33:32-33.

I'm too liberal to align myself with any denomination, to conform to their policies and beliefs, though raised Catholic.

All I need is a Bible to be Christian, not an IRS approved church that's agreed in writing with IRS to be non political, in return for tax exempt status. Non political means not opposing candidates, or running for office, or opposing wars that violate international laws, or pushing for reforms, or clean up of corruption, or leading marches. They are serving mammon, not God, as proven by 2 Timothy 3:12-"ALL that will live Godly in Christ Jesus shall suffer persecution". That excludes them! But way over 3000 US churches have been arsoned since late 1992, so attend the ashes of the church of your choice. I noticed no Catholic churches among the nationwide arson spree.
