And he's documented that Trump repeatedly tried to obstruct the investigation, failing only because even his people wouldn't do it for him.

Doesn't change the fact that no obstruction was done and not only that, but Trump did not keep anything hidden and called for the complete report to be released. In his frustration, he called for Mueller to be fire, but cooler heads prevailed and they explained to him why they could not fire Mueller.

But no crime was committed. That is also what the evidence points to. If Mueller and Co. could have made a case for obstruction, they would have done so.

He cannot be charged with any crime connected to firing James Comey. It was his prerogative to do so. He fired Comey because Comey assured him in private that he was not under investigation, but would not publicly state that the president was not under investigation. Comey allowed the public narrative that Trump was under investigation to continue, and that is why he was fired and rightly so.

Yes I saw that. But again what official was obstructed? Trump's own advisor? If there was a threat and the threat was not communicated to the one who would be intimidated then where's the attempt to obstruct.

The only thing smelly about the Trump Tower meeting was someone with ties to the Trump dossier tried to get Donny Jr to bite on entrapment. The Mueller report addressed this too and found out the Russian lawyer was offering and Donny Jr did not bite.

Ironically, if the Russian agents had told Don Jr. they expected to be paid for it, it would have been legal.

What is do disturbing about not only what the Dems in Congress are saying, and what liberals are saying on this very board, is that they would have preferred for the country's security and elections to be compromised. Hey you pose some really good questions. Maybe we need a special prosecutor to look into the Clinton/DNC-Fusion GPS-Steele-Russia connection. I mean there is even a paper trail of who got paid and when. Any junior partner in a DC law firm could spend a couple of nights figuring this out. It's so well documented and admitted to that it won't take two years to figure out.

There also doesn't seem to be any mention of the foreign assets that were used to try and infiltrate the Trump campaign so they could frame Trump. The rhetoric in the report still only mentions Russia tried to interfere with our elections not some of our "supposed" allies.

If the meeting with Donny Jr, Jared Kushner, Paul Manafort and the Russians in Trump Towers was truly a "nothingburger," why the need for this President to invent a "cover story" that it was all about adoptions?
