Michael W. Smith is my man, as his voice and music is very moving and carries weight. Let us never forget this day, and God bless the heroes, first responders and soldiers who lost their lives to protect the lives of those during September 11, 2001. This is a solemn day for the whole world.

Amen to being united. Regardless of views and opinions, we are all one country, and for us Christians, we are one in Christ. Let this day be a day that brings Americans closer together, cos United We Stand. We must all stand up for the victims of 9/11 and other disasters, such as Katrina in 2005 and more recent disasters.

Amen, brother. The first responders and volunteers for 9/11 remind me of a verse or two that I am making a devotional on that relates to 9/11 EMT responders.

John 15:13 (NIV): "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends."

1 John 3:16 (NIV): "This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us. And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters."
