There must be a twisting of Scripture to deceive God's people.

There was a high sabbeth and a regular sacceth in that week, thus two sabbeths.

Which high Sabbath? If you're referring to Passover it starts on the 14th or 15th of the month which is always a regular weekly Sabbath all in accordance with the law. The first Sabbath of the month is always the 7th day after the full moon. So if one gives that day a number the Passover is the 15th. If one starts numbering the days of the month the day following the new moon it is the 14th.

Amen! The crucifixion took place on Wednesday. Thursday was the first day of the Feast of Unleavened bread which was to be a Sabbath. Friday following that Sabbath Mary bought the spices then came the 7th day Sabbath and she rested on that day according to the commandment. It's so simple when you use God's map to find your way.
The Feast of Unleavened bread begins the day after Passover.

I have no desire to answer your questions because you have no desire for an answer.
I think you mean I won't just fall in line with your idea. It certainly isn't acceptable to ask questions of religious leaders. One is to believe any and everything they say without question. Whatever happened to the commendable Bereans?

Are you some well known and highly educated Bible teacher? Why not use your known name? I would add power to what you say. I think you're a well meaning soldier of a certain group of people.

If the verses in the N.T has been mistranslated in error by purpose regarding the Sabbath and the related festivals, then obviously one of Satan's agents had access to alter the Bible to hide it in the N.T. So why was the evidence left in the Old Testament? Satan's job is to deceive the world, right? Wouldn't it make sense, if the Sabbath was an integral part of Salvation, that all evidence of it would be eliminated? why keep it in the Old Testament then? Why not alter the original 10 commandments to erase all mention of a weekly Sabbath? If someone's intention is to deceive the entire world on this particular issue, then he did a sloppy job to leave evidence of it.

It's like someone breaking into your home to steal stuff, and leaves behind his drivers license, hair samples and finger prints intentionally. Sloppy.

So, either Satan is very sloppy to leave evidence (when he's called the master of lies), or the Sabbath day isn't a key issue to getting into heaven.

Jesus Christ aka Yahushah Hamashiach ROSE ON THE 1ST DAY OF THE WEEK!!!!

No amount of trying to analyze 2 Sabbaths in 1 week will take away from that. The bible says it and 1st century church fathers agree and taught that too. The only people trying to push the Messiah rises on Saturday are Sabbatarians, SDA's and Hebrew Israelites.

-Matthew 27 shows they wanted a guard there until the 3rd day

Matthew 27:62-65
New King James Version (NKJV)
Pilate Sets a Guard
62 On the next day, which followed the Day of Preparation, the chief priests and Pharisees gathered together to Pilate, 63 saying, “Sir, we remember, while He was still alive, how that deceiver said, ‘After three days I will rise.’ 64 Therefore command that the tomb be made secure until the third day, lest His disciples come by night[a] and steal Him away, and say to the people, ‘He has risen from the dead.’ So the last deception will be worse than the first.”
65 Pilate said to them, “You have a guard; go your way, make it as secure as you know how.”

-Matthew 28 shows after the sabbath was over the angel from heaven came and removed the stone, at this point the guards collapsed.

Matthew 28
New King James Version (NKJV)
He Is Risen
28 Now after the Sabbath, as the first day of the week began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb. 2 And behold, there was a great earthquake; for an angel of the Lord descended from heaven, and came and rolled back the stone from the door,[a] and sat on it. 3 His countenance was like lightning, and his clothing as white as snow. 4 And the guards shook for fear of him, and became like dead men.
5 But the angel answered and said to the women, “Do not be afraid, for I know that you seek Jesus who was crucified. 6 He is not here; for He is risen, as He said. Come, see the place where the Lord lay.

-Luke 24 shows when they got there early at sunrise in the morning the tomb was already empty, so he rose before sunrise, so there goes the whole he rose at sunrise theory.

Luke 24

New King James Version (NKJV)
He Is Risen
24 Now on the first day of the week, very early in the morning, they, and certain other women with them,[a] came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared. 2 But they found the stone rolled away from the tomb. 3 Then they went in and did not find the body of the Lord Jesus. 4 And it happened, as they were greatly[b] perplexed about this, that behold, two men stood by them in shining garments. 5 Then, as they were afraid and bowed their faces to the earth, they said to them, “Why do you seek the living among the dead? 6 He is not here, but is risen! Remember how He spoke to you when He was still in Galilee, 7 saying, ‘The Son of Man must be delivered into the hands of sinful men, and be crucified, and the third day rise again.’”

-Mark 16 shows when they got there at sunrise in the morning the tomb was already empty, so he rose before sunrise, so once again, there goes the whole he rose at sunrise theory.

Mark 16

New King James Version (NKJV)
He Is Risen
16 Now when the Sabbath was past, Mary Magdalene, Mary the mother of James, and Salome bought spices, that they might come and anoint Him. 2 Very early in the morning, on the first day of the week, they came to the tomb when the sun had risen. 3 And they said among themselves, “Who will roll away the stone from the door of the tomb for us?” 4 But when they looked up, they saw that the stone had been rolled away—for it was very large. 5 And entering the tomb, they saw a young man clothed in a long white robe sitting on the right side; and they were alarmed.

-John 20 shows it was dark when they got to the tomb on Sunday and the tomb was empty, so yet another gospel shows he did not rise at sunrise and was already gone

John 20
New King James Version (NKJV)
The Empty Tomb
20 Now on the first day of the week Mary Magdalene went to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb. 2 Then she ran and came to Simon Peter, and to the other disciple, whom Jesus loved, and said to them, “They have taken away the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid Him.”
3 Peter therefore went out, and the other disciple, and were going to the tomb. 4 So they both ran together, and the other disciple outran Peter and came to the tomb first. 5 And he, stooping down and looking in, saw the linen cloths lying there; yet he did not go in. 6 Then Simon Peter came, following him, and went into the tomb; and he saw the linen cloths lying there, 7 and the handkerchief that had been around His head, not lying with the linen cloths, but folded together in a place by itself. 8 Then the other disciple, who came to the tomb first, went in also; and he saw and believed. 9 For as yet they did not know the Scripture, that He must rise again from the dead. 10 Then the disciples went away again to their own homes.

-All 4 gospels shows the Sabbath was over and it was now the 1rst day of the week and he had already risen from the grave before the sun rose. Mathew 28 is the only one that gives an account of when the angel came and it was after the Sabbath on the 1rst day of the week, so the "he rose at sunrise" is false and "he rose on the Sabbath is also False", so since he rose on Sunday the 17th of Nissan and died on Nisan 14.

The scenarios i listed earlier, its only the 1rst 2 scenarios below that would agree with scripture. The Wednesday one would work only if you counted 72 literal hours after 3pm that day and after the sun went down on Saturday night and its the 1rst day off the week he rose. Even if Jesus did wake up on Saturday at 3pm, he could have prayed to his father until the stone was removed on Sunday when the sun went down Saturday night, so rising from a grave is not until the grave is physically open which was on Sunday as supported by all 4 gospels.

14th Thursday Died @ 3PM
15th Friday-Sabbath(Feast of Unleavened Bread): No work allowed
16th Saturday-Sabbath: No work allowed
17th Sunday -Rose from the Grave after sundown Sat Night (1st Day of the Week)

14th Wednesday Died @ 3PM
15th Thursday Sabbath(Feast of Unleavened Bread) No work allowed
16th Friday
17th Saturday Sabbath- Rose from the grave after sunset

14th Friday Died @ 3PM
15th Saturday: Dual Sabbath(Feast of Unleavened Bread) No work allowed
16th Sunday
17th Monday-Rose from the Grave

So if all research show he died on Nisan 14 and rose on Nisan 17, all you have to do is count backwards from Nisan 17. Wednesday could make sense to as Dainel (said he would be cut of in the midst of the week and the midst of the week is Wednesday

Daniel 9:26-27
New King James Version (NKJV)
26 “And after the sixty-two weeks
Messiah shall be cut off, but not for Himself;
And the people of the prince who is to come
Shall destroy the city and the sanctuary.
The end of it shall be with a flood,
And till the end of the war desolations are determined.
27 Then he shall confirm a covenant with many for one week;
But in the middle of the week
He shall bring an end to sacrifice and offering.
And on the wing of abominations shall be one who makes desolate,
Even until the consummation, which is determined,
Is poured out on the desolate.”

Mary went to the tomb at sunrise on the third day. This was Sabbath morning, not Sunday morning. Listen.

Mark 16:2 And very early in the morning the first day of the week, they came unto the sepulcher at the rising of the sun.

These four words, "day of the week" is the Strong's number (G4521) and is actually one word in the Greek and it's the word, Sabbath.

(G4521) sabbaton (sab'-bat-on) n.
1. the Sabbath (i.e. Shabbath)
2. the seventh day of each week which was a sacred festival on which the Israelites were required to abstain from all work
3. the institution of the sabbath, the law for keeping holy every seventh day of the week
4. a single sabbath, sabbath day

No matter how you look at it, the words (day of the week) are not there. The only word that is there is the word, Sabbath.

The verse should read like this. "Very early in the morning on the first Sabbath". Why was it called the first Sabbath? Because they were counting the Sabbaths that followed the high sabbath. According to Leviticus they had to count seven Sabbaths. I added the words, high sabbath, to the verse to help identify which sabbath Leviticus is referring to. Listen.
This is obviously a twisted and deceptive understanding of scripture. Truth is; the word sabbaton directly applies to the word 'week' and not about the other words in the phrase. Do some more research.

Luk 18:12
I fast twice in the week, G4521 I give tithes of all that I possess.

Lev. 23 tells us that the Passover was on the 14th day of the month (Wednesday) followed by the 15th day (Thursday) which was the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, this was a sabbath. This sabbath was followed by a normal day of work (Friday) followed by the seventh day Sabbath (Saturday).

Jesus had to die on Passover in order to fulfill prophecy. Mary bought the spices after the first sabbath. In other words, Mary bought the spices on Friday. She prepared the spices on Friday and then rested on the seventh day Sabbath according to the commandment.

Here is how the verses should read.

Luke 24
New King James Version (NKJV)
He Is Risen
24 Now on the first Sabbath, very early in the morning, they, and certain other women with them,[a] came to the tomb bringing the spices which they had prepared.

They came to the tomb on the first Sabbath after they prepared the spices. Remember, they prepared the spices on Friday.

Matthew 28
New King James Version (NKJV)
He Is Risen
28 Now after the week, as the first Sabbath began to dawn, Mary Magdalene and the other Mary came to see the tomb.

John 20
New King James Version (NKJV)
The Empty Tomb
20 Now on the first Sabbath Mary Magdalene went to the tomb early, while it was still dark, and saw that the stone had been taken away from the tomb.

Jesus was in the tomb three days and three nights. I don't believe He needed to be in the tomb exactly 72 hours to the second. He just had to be in the tomb three days and three nights just like Jonah.

Listen.

Leviticus 23:15-16 And you shall count for yourselves from the day after the high Sabbath,...seven Sabbaths shall be completed. Count fifty days to the day after the seventh Sabbath.

This is why it was on the first Sabbath that Mary came to the tomb, not the first day of the week.

The Bible uses the term, new moon, to determine the change of months and it uses the seventh day Sabbath to determine the change of weeks. In one month there are four Sabbaths or four weeks. Numbering the seventh day Sabbath to determine which week it was is not unusual. Listen to Luke in how he describes the second week of the month as the second Sabbath.

Luke 6:1-2 Now it happened on the second Sabbath after the first that He went through the grain fields. And His disciples plucked the heads of grain and ate them, rubbing them in their hands. And some of the Pharisees said to them, “Why are you doing what is not lawful to do on the Sabbath?”

On the second Sabbath after the first just means it was the second week of the month. Paul also uses the same principle of numbering the Sabbath to determine the week. Keep in mind how the words, (day of the week) are not there in the original language. The verse should read like this, "On the first Sabbath let each of you lay something aside so that there be no collections when I come". Listen.

1 Corinthians 16:2 On the first {Sabbath} (not) day of the week let each one of you lay something aside, storing up as he may prosper, that there be no collections when I come.

Paul was telling them to take up a collection on the first Sabbath of that particular month because that's the time frame in which Paul would be passing through that area. If Paul was planning on passing through on the second week he could have worded like Luke did by saying, "On the second Sabbath after the first let each of you lay something aside so that there be no collections when I come".[/SIZE]
No sir the Greek reads -

mia tōn sabbatōn literally - first (one) the Sabbath (week), it doesn't say mia sabbatōn. I Cor 16:2 reads differently and doesn't pertain to your argument presented from MK 16:2. kata mian sabbatou literally down from one Sabbath. It doesn't say mian sabbatou - one Sabbath.

( Crib: It's obvious that Sabbath also means week(s) )

. In the end of the sabbath, as
it began to dawn toward the
first [day] of the week,.........

Crib- It's also clear that the seventh day on the calender is called Sabbath or Saturday.
The problem comes when the bible is talking about dates and times, but Sabbatarians is talking about sabbathkeeping.

Isa 66 is an example of an expression of time not sabbathkeeping.

Mary bought the spices after the sabbath passed, prepared them, and then rested on the Sabbath that was drawing near.

The sabbath that passed was Thursday and refers to the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread. The Sabbath that drew near was the seventh day Sabbath. That means there was a sabbath, a regular day of work, and then a Sabbath. It's simple if you use Lev.23 for what it was intended for, a road map to God's plan.

The 14th of the month is never a Wednesday on the New Moon Calendar.

Only when coupled with other words.

No sir. The Feast of Unleavened Bread starts the day after Passover.
