This is the transliteral for Gen 1:26. "And said Elohiym making man (Adam) in our image..."
It's still saying 'in our image'... who's image? Who is the 'our'?
Eloah means: Gods Spirit, and it is a contraction. It also is not translated in our bibles as such. The four beast or creatures can also be translated as: The four beings. And the Seven Lamps are the Seven Spirits. See Rev 4:5.
"Our" that being the people who already live in the Kingdom of God with Him.Quote:

You still haven't answered this one, Michael..
Rev 1:20. The seven Lampstand is the Seven Churches. Zec 3:8. " 'Listen, O high priest of Yahshua and your associates seated before you, who are men symbolic of things to come: I am going to bring my servant, the Branch. 9 See, the stone I have setup as Yahshua! There are seven eyes on that one stone, and I will engrave an inscription on it,' says Yahwah Almighty, 'and I will remove the sin of this land in a single day.Rev 4:5 Out from the throne come flashes of lightning and sounds and peals of thunder. And there were seven lamps of fire burning before the throne, which are the seven Spirits of God;
I don't think the seven Lamps are literal lamps, they are symbolically the seven Spirits of God. That's how it appears to me, anyway.
Why would God make man in anyone's image other than his own, as that would seem to be paying homage to some other being, which is something I don't think the Lord does?
Perhaps I should have used the word "THEIR" meaning everybody including God. God made man in His image which also includes the other people. Why would God make man in anyone's image other than his own, as that would seem to be paying homage to some other being, which is something I don't think the Lord does?

Before God created man, other people lived in the Kingdom of God with Him. Their image: Everyone. The account of creation is that man wasn't yet made - this was the first account of man being made IN HIS OWN IMAGE. It can't be gotten around.
WHAT?????????Before God created man, other people lived in the Kingdom of God with Him. Their image: Everyone.

Yep - Mormons teach the preexistence of man as spirit babies.WHAT?????????
My goodness it just keeps getting more and more ______
........... nevermind
Mormon's teach this kinda stuff
Exactly! He can try to spin it any way he wants, but these are the same basic types of teachings from these 2 (can they be called cults here?) I don't even know with the rules the way they are now.Yep - Mormons teach the preexistence of man as spirit babies.
And JWs teach that Jesus is a created being like he wrote earlier.
I'll second that Oy Vey, AND RAISE YOU ONE!oye vey!
So you think that when God said, "let Us make man in Our image" He was referring to other people? And you think Zec. 3:8 supports that odd concept?
That is just so bizarre, I am rather astounded you would think that.
Zec. 3:8 is a prophecy of Jesus Christ who was yet to come in Zechariah's time. It is not support for your claim at all.
