I'm saying that sometimes people with head injuries get well, and prayer hasn't once healed an amputee.
So what you are saying is that because you haven't seen it happen then it doesn't happen?

I've never seen it, you've never seen it, no one's ever seen it. God doesn't heal amputees.
I can't help note that so many of the writers here want to know where I saw what I saw.
And apparently there are 14 wars taking place currently. All evidence of man's inhumanity to man.
What puzzles me is how they intend to do this when all they do is carp, are totally negative, morose, depressing, gloomy, moody, pessimistic and sullen. I have yet to see one post from them that is positive.
My world is full of positive, happy people who are always looking for the best in people and prefer to compliment you rather than make negative remarks all the time. If you are down, they will help see you through to the other side.
Glad you think so as I have got a lot more where that came from. Not so long ago I was in a meeting and a young man in his early 20s told us his life story. His Dad was a deadbeat and as a result the young man ended up being a petty criminal. And to boot every weekend his only aim was to get as drunk as a newt.
One weekend he was so drunk that on his way home he fell down in the gutter and there he lay unable to get up. He passed out and during his drunken stupor Jesus appeared to him and spoke to him. In that moment of time he committed his life to Christ and was eternally saved.
He came to stone sober and walked home. From that day he said he has not touched alcohol and his only passion now was telling others about the love of God and his story. As a result many have been born again and become part of the kingdom of God.
Now that is what I call a cool story.
Do you believe everything you hear, or only what you want to?Just as I thought the closed mind of atheists subscribes to you in your small corner and I in mine. I know someone who saw an amputee gain a new hand but of course with your cynical rejection of reality it would not interest you.
Including those good folk who want to put homosexuals and abortion providers to death?
tiglathpileser said:Steve said this in post 355. Apparently that is OK because he is an atheist.
I do have to wonder where people get the idea the world is a better place now that atheism is king.
I read a few weeks ago that we have more displaced persons than we have ever had in the history of mankind. I guess that is better than having no displaced persons.
I read that there are approximately 22 million women and children who are in sexual slavery. I guess that is better than having none.
I read that despite the world having enough food to feed everyone, there are millions dying of starvation. I guess that is better than having no one starving.
I read that suicide is on the rise and it is as high as it has ever been. I guess that is better than having no suicides.
I believe there are more homeless now than there has ever been. I guess that is better than having no one homeless.
I believe the number of people that are dying of AIDS is at an all time high. But I guess that is better than having no one dying of AIDS.
Because of war, famine and AIDS, there are more orphans in Africa than at anytime before. But I guess that is better than having no orphans.
No doubt about it. The world is definitely a better place now.
I can't help note that so many of the writers here want to know where I saw what I saw. I find that a bit strange as I would have expected that if you are going to write on a public forum you will know what you're talking about. It is no use seeing things from a single perspective and then expecting everyone else seeing it the same way as you do.
Personally I don't care where anyone saw anything or read anything.
I doubt if there is any time that we would like to go back to as man has made a complete foul up of running this planet. At some time or another there is always someone suffering at the hands of another.
Just as I thought the closed mind of atheists subscribes to you in your small corner and I in mine. I know someone who saw an amputee gain a new hand but of course with your cynical rejection of reality it would not interest you.
Provide the evidence.
"I know someone who says...." Is NOT evidence!
It was a lie, wasn't it?
Overlong plodding sarcasm aside, what was the name of the book whose launch was assaulted by LGBT activists?Of course it was a lie. Didn't you know that christians ALWAYS lie when they are writing something on a Christian forum. That is the only reason they come onto forums to lie through their teeth. After all that is what the bible teaches. It says "You shall know the art of lying and the art of lying will set you free."
In fact the rules of christian forums is that you must lie or you will be banned because telling the truth is anathema on christian forums. If we told the truth no one would believe us. When we lie the atheists always believe us because it is second nature for them to lie as they cannot handle the truth so we have to lie to keep them happy.
We like to lie because that means we can say anything and we don't have to justify anything we say. You should try it as it will give you so much respect and acceptance. After all you can't tell the truth that God does exist or you would be laughed out of atheist heaven.
And yet, you also claim that now is the worst time to live!
You really don't know what you are talking about, do you?
Overlong plodding sarcasm aside, what was the name of the book whose launch was assaulted by LGBT activists?
There are Christians who wish to have homosexuals put to death. Do you doubt this? There are Christians who have killed abortion providers. Do you deny this?
There are atheists who want as many babies in the womb murdered as possible. Do you deny this? And for your information about 50 million of them have been murdered since Roe v Wade. Have 50 million abortion providers been killed by Christians? Have 50 million homosexuals been killed by Christians?
For your information I know the answer to my questions so don't give me some [bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse][bless and do not curse] and bull story and try and justify a pathetic attempt at a strawman.
You stated in the other thread that radical LGBT activists had attacked his book launch. What is the name of the book?
