First Temple Rules and Regulations
1 Chronicles 28:
11
Then David gave his son Solomon the plans for the vestibule, its houses, its treasuries, its upper chambers, its inner chambers, and the place of the mercy seat;
12 and the plans for all that he had by the Spirit, of the courts of the house of the Lord, of all the chambers all around, of the treasuries of the house of God, and of the treasuries for the dedicated things;
13 also for the division of the priests and the Levites, for all the work of the service of the house of the Lord, and for all the articles of service in the house of the Lord.

"the plans for all that he had by the Spirit"
The first temple is normally referred to as Solomon's temple, as he was the overseer of its construction. However, the vision for the temple was given to David, even as the tabernacle in the wilderness was shown to Moses by the vision on the Mount.
Hebrews 8:5 Who serve unto the example and shadow of heavenly things, as Moses was admonished of God when he was about to make the tabernacle: for, See, saith he, that thou make all things according to the pattern shewed to thee in the mount.

There was no change in the Law for the Sanctuary given to Moses, and executed by the sons of Aaron as an earthly priesthood. The Levites responsibilities had to be revised from what was expected of them in the wilderness. This was established by David, in accordance with the heavenly vision.
The Law of the House is further refined by a vision shown to Ezekiel.

Ezekiel 43:12 This is the law of the house; Upon the top of the mountain the whole limit thereof round about shall be most holy. Behold, this is the law of the house.

This Law of the House now integrates the roles of the Levites with the house of David. Once again the Law of the Sanctuary remains intact.
Only after Christ's Ascension unto the heavenly Sanctuary was there
a change to the Law of the Sanctuary. This is the detailed narrative found in Hebrews 7-9. But what of the Law of the House? Under whose vision is this now established for the body of Christ, the true temple of God on earth?
The apostle Paul lays this out with complete detail:
Initiation of fellowship by the breaking of bread.

1 Corinthians 11:
26 For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death till He comes.
27 Therefore whoever eats this bread or drinks this cup of the Lord in an unworthy manner will be guilty of the body and blood of the Lord. 28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of the bread and drink of the cup.

The church is also to bear witness to the resurrection
Acts 1:22 Beginning from the baptism of John, unto that same day that he was taken up from us, must one be ordained to be a witness with us of his resurrection.
Acts 4:33 And with great power the apostles gave witness to the resurrection of the Lord Jesus. And great grace was upon them all.

Paul goes into detail in regards to this concern in chapter 15:
1 Corinthians 15:
16
For if the dead do not rise, then Christ is not risen.
17 And if Christ is not risen, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins!
Chapter 12 of 1 Corinthians explains the integration of the body under the direction of the Holy Spirit.
1 Corinthians 12:
11
But one and the same Spirit works all these things,
distributing to each one individually as He wills.
12 For as the body is one and has many members, but all the members of that one body, being many, are one body, so also is Christ.
Chapter 14 further refines how the members of the body are to fellowship in an orderly fashion.
1 Corinthians 14:
33
For God is not the author of confusion but of peace,
as in all the churches of the saints.
40 Let all things be done decently and in order.

At the center of these instructions we find the heart of the matter for the church, the Body of Christ.
1 Corinthians 13:13 And now abide faith, hope, love, these three;
but the greatest of these is love.

This is the Law of the House
Ephesians 4:
1
I, therefore, the prisoner of the Lord, beseech you to walk worthy of the calling with which you were called,
2 with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love,
3 endeavoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
4 There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called in one hope of your calling;
5 one Lord, one faith, one baptism;
6 one God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.
7 But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift.

13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fullness of Christ:

15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:

23 And be renewed in the spirit of your mind;
24 And that ye put on the new man, which after God is created in righteousness and true holiness.

32 And be ye kind one to another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God for Christ's sake hath forgiven you.
