Is there a difference between teaching and preaching the gospel?

I would say yes there is a difference.

Preaching ~ is delivering the Word of God through speaking.

Teaching ~ is speaking about the understanding/meanings of the Word of God.

Concerning women "teaching";
...In the beginning, the Word of God was delivered (via Gods methods) to MEN.

Men were the gender designated as the Head of the household, tribes, peoples.

As the Word of God, was deliver to MEN, from God, they were instructed to TELL others, (other men & women & children).

Men hearing Gods Word, were further instructed, to WRITE, COPY, DISTRIBUTE, REHEARSE in the ears of others, REWRITE from memory any destroyed writings.

Men gathered in places, (open land, homes, tents, Temples, Churches), to hear and speak and write, Gods Word.

Women were to hear Gods Word, FROM MEN, particularly their HUSBANDS.

Centuries later ~ Women were allowed to attend, and be present, in Temples and Churches, TO ALSO, hear the Word of God.

WHY? Why did Women need to go out of their homes, to a Temple or Church TO HEAR the Word of God?

That answer has to do with...
Unmarried Women,
Widowed Women,
Divorced Women.

And ALSO...
The consideration of WOMEN who had a Husband....whom the Husband himself DID NOT ATTEND Temple/Church, and therefore, himself, NOT LEARN the Word of God, or tell his WIFE.

Thus, the progression, OF MEN/HUSBANDS,
Telling WOMEN in their own homes, the WORD of God, became, VOID.

Filling the VOID, WOMEN began attending Temple/Churches, to Hear the Word of God.

In Gods "WAY", everything has an ORDER per sequences, of what comes first, next, and so forth.

When something in the ORDER becomes corrupted, God reveals HOW TO "overcome" the corruption.

So, Women begin ATTENDING, Temple/Churches. They ALSO had to learn the ORDER. HEARING the Word of God, is FIRST.....BEFORE the Understanding of what is HEARD.

Women were not "suffered", to Teach.

IOW - Women Attemding Temple/Church, were not "REQUIRED", to TEACH the UNDERSTANDING of the WORD of God, they were Hearing.

THAT was over 2 thousand years ago.

For 2 thousand years WOMEN have been Hearing and Learning the Word of God.

For 2 thousand years WOMEN have been, becoming widowed, been divorced, been abandoned by husbands, been married to men who do not themselves attend Church, and themselves hearing or telling their wives the Word of God.

A corrupt fail in Gods Order has occurred World Wide.

BUT NO PROBLEM, that God does not have a REMEDY, to reveal, and people to grasp the understanding thereof.

One little notation in Scripture, that is easily overlooked. We HEAR, the story of ....
Man and Woman...Husband and Wife...called
Adam and Eve.

But...God called "them" by the NAME, ADAM.

Gen 5
2: Male and Female created He them; and blessed them, and called their NAME ADAM, in the day when they were created.

Further, revealed later.

Rom 2:
11: For there is no respect of persons with God.

It is my position/view, that ANY PERSON, who diligently seeks the Word of God, and Trusts to Believe the Word of God, and Becomes a "son of God"..... has nothing to do with Gender, but rather has to do with ANYONE of the Human RACE, that desires to know and be with God in a close spiritual relationship.

Further...
That ANY PERSON WHO HAS, become a "son of God", has "personal", direct communication WITH God, and subject to receiving HIS WISDOM and HIS UNDERSTANDING of HIS OWN WORD, "FROM GOD".

Further...
Understanding of Scriptures ONLY comes from God.
One can GAIN Gods understanding, TEACH about it, but can not UNDERSTAND IT FOR YOU....that comes ONLY from God.

Luke 24:
45: THEN OPENED HE their UNDERSTANDING, that they might understand the scriptures.

Further...
That ANY SUCH PERSON, is thereafter, qualified and JUSTIFIED to Preach and Teach the Word of God, as a SERVANT "to" God.
