And people on the right know that there are sone questionable Nazis. That Joseph Goebbels. He just couldn't utter a sentence without using naughty language. But for the most part Nazis are wholesome, God fearing Christians, who just want to eliminate the Jews, and have a good ol'fashioned book bonfire. They are an important voice in the United Right.

So let me understand this:

The Democratically run city issues the permit for the neo nazis to assemble and did nothing to stop them.

The Democratic governor of the state said nothing about allowing the neo nazi assemble

Why did they let this level of scum have a voice??

Now, with the Democratic leadership permission, the neo nazi scuzzballs do their little march, a group of Antifa, the alt left organize a. Pinter demonstration and show up in hoods, equipped with bats and clubs, take the time to fill bottle with urine and feces and on purpose attack the scumbags.

Seems to me there are two issues.

The neo nazis and the people who organized, prepared and went purposely to physically attack them.

But the President can't speak about them.

Like Trump/hate Trump

That is the truth and that is exactly what happened.

The other alt-right people weren't even there, is what I was saying.
And you are wrong. Richard Spencer was there and he is the one who coined the new name 'New Right' for the alt-right.

He is in this photo taken Saturday.

Amongst Saturday’s headline speakers was Richard Spencer, who claims to have invented the term "alt-right," and has disseminated its white nationalist ideology via his National Policy Institute think-tank, as well as a network of websites and publishing ventures.
Charlottesville's alt-right leaders have a passion for Vladimir Putin

Many of the people protesting against the Alt-right groups were Christian clergy and Christians from local churches. Are you saying they were Antifa, that they were there with weapons? Are you saying that the crowd that the car deliberately plowed into were carrying weapons?

Where are all these hoods that people were wearing?

That's right. What the President said was that people who march next to Klansmen, under Nazi flags, and mouth the words to anti-Jewish slogans, are good people.

Give me a quote that says exactly this, i.e. not a quote where you have to explain what each word really means, or retract your statement and admit that you are lying.

EDIT: For the benefit of posterity, JGG changed his post without mentioning this. The original post claimed that the President said that nazis, the KKK and white supremacists were good people.

Hitler was a devoted dog owner. No one who cares about dogs can be a bad guy, right?

I strongly disagree. Trump needed to find enough angry white men and get them out to vote. Over 63% voted for Trump. His base continues to back him. Rural voters still back Trump, even though they have the most to lose if Obamacare is repealed. Trump once said that he could shoot someone on 5th Avenue in daylight, and his base would still vote for him. I think that's true.

Please look at the posts here over the past week, and the past months. Sure, there's lots of outrage with much of what Trump does and what he says. THERE IS ALSO LOTS OF SUPPORT. In addition to his base, there are many, many Republicans who continue to support Trump since he is so much better then Establishment Republicans and Democrats. After all, Congress has a lower approval rating than Trump.

We are more than a year out. I will say it now. Unless establishment Republicans and Democrats get a better unifying message than neverTrump, Trump will continue to lead his party for 8 more years, and the Congress in 2018.

It seems to me Republicans only have one choice: Full on Naziism. They've kind of burned bridges with Jews anyone who isn't white, and a rather significant portion of those people who are. Who does that leave? People who think Hitler was a pretty neat guy.

They need flags with swastikas, threats to ban Jews from America, skin color paint swatches to determine who is white enough, and a wall to prevent New Yorkers from sneaking into the rest of the country.

Neither did the President.

The President suggested there were good people knowingly marching along side them.

I say that if you were at that rally marching with the KKK and the Natzi's you aren't "a fine person".

Trump needs that squishy middle and usual conservatives to either be apathetic or not hate him.

They are going to have to be OK with this sort of behavior to ever vote for him again and OK enough to deal with a highly motivated opposition.

Do you think that the 'good people' walking among these guys didn't notice the swastikas? They didn't see the big Nazi flags the crowd was flying? They didn't hear the chants of 'blood and soil' and 'Jews won't replace us'? They didn't see all of the Nazi and Klan imagery on signs, tattoos and weaponry?

I'll concede that there may have been 'good people' there if you will concede that those same people are either blind, deaf and dumb or astoundingly stupid.

1) The Tea Party is going nowhere. They have their ant-establishment candidate.
2) From what we can see, evangelicals will continue to say that they are not voting for the pastor in chief, and give their support to Trump.

It seems unlikely that neither group will desert Trump until at least after the mid-terms. After that the Tea Party might be looking for a new candidate, probably not.

But this sort of stuff really upsets the liberals, which seems to be the primary motivation of much of his base

Let's just say that there were some of these good people who came on Friday night. After seeing what you noted, their choice was to support this effort or to go home.

The mid-terms come first. Conservatives are already turning on each other. If they get slapped around it's going to get very ugly.

Maybe you could try not to sound so happy about violence and death? Do you think? I'd hate anyone to get the wrong idea.

I wasn't aware that posting text online made a sound. Is it my assertion that the antifa were looking for a fight or the assertion that they got one that you take issue with?

They've kind of burned bridges with Jews anyone who isn't white, and a rather significant portion of those people who are. Who does that leave?

They've been saying that ever since he announced his campaign for the presidency. Fact is, he didn't do any worse among non-white voters than other Republican candidates.

Are you saying that the crowd that the car deliberately plowed into were carrying weapons?

Yes, indeed!
