  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

Hi there dear brothers in Jesus...
I have a question for you.
Lets suppose one fine day you are at the sevice and suddenly one of your brothers comes close to you and says:
Oh, dear brother, our Lord says to you that you will be a blessing for your sons and even for your (wife/husband)... and then you say... well, at this moment... I am single. I am not married!!!
It´s a profecy which may come true one day near in the future...

Later, when our pastor begins ministrate... he says... we are living in the last days. We have signals which tell us that we are near the end of the time. The coming of Jesus is near, so be prepared...

QUESTION:
SHOULD I TAKE THAT PROFECY AS A SIGNAL THAT... THAT PROFECY MUST BE REALITY BEFORE OUR LORD´S COMING?... OR MAYBE JESUS CAN COME FOR HIS CHURCH EVEN THOUGH SOME PROFECIES DONT COME TRUE?

It´s clear that nobody knows the time of Jesus´coming, nor the angels neither the Son... only God knows...  Jesus could come at any moment...  But it´s also written that

God is not a man, that he should lie, nor a son of a man, that he should change his mind. Does he speak and then not act? Does he promise and not fulfill?
Hoping to receive nice aportations. I say:
Be ready, because Jesus is Coming.... Soon.
Hugo.

Maybe your friend is wrong.  If you were to never get married wouldn't you take that to mean that your friend was wrong and not that God didn't fulfill the prophecy?

God bless

Well Hugo, what I would say is that if you remain walking with the Lord and following His ways, that one day, when/if you get married, you will be blessing for your wife and your sons/daughters.

I believe the person was just trying to incourage you and probably should not have used the words "the Lord says".  It was more like "someday your're gonna make somebody a good husband and father".

Receive it as a compliment from your brother.

God Bless,

Quaffer

Be very weary of personal prophesy that predicts anything. This is especially true if it does not cause your spirit to burn as any true word from Jesus would. Listen to the still small voice for direction... not prophesy. Prophesy may confirm what God has told you. But unless the man is a proven minister of the gospel.... be careful!

Or they could both come true... not like only one can happen. Maybe you will get married soon and have a son and Jesus return shortly as well. No one says it has to be one or the other....

But if Jesus comes back first, I guess you know which one was true! :D lol

Yeah, there's something wrong with my (Ref's) account so I'm using my other one right now.  Gabriel is helping me to try and get the problem fixed.

I'll be back on as my regular account soon I hope.  LOL!  Man I'm addicted to this MB!! :D
