Issac wept. His name that means, “He laughed,” was not laughing now, but completely opposite, he wept. His placed a prayer shawl, a tallit over his head, then brought the strings on the corner of this garment, the tzitzit, with his left hand, to his lips and kissed. Closing his eyes, and shutting off all that was happening in the car around him, he greatly searched his heart to El Shaddai, his almighty G_d, and prayed the Shema Yisroel. After some time of weeping with bowed head, he realized the stonyness of his heart, he desired it to be made of flesh.
Then his thoughts turned to how Rachel, oh, beloved Rachel, had tried to witness to him about Jesus, as the Messiah, “Yeshua.” But, he wouldn’t listen. He thought of the prophet Isaiah, who said, “Make the heart of this people dull, and their ears heavy, and shut their eyes; lest they see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and return and be healed.” Issac desired for his heart to be healed. He continued to pray and weep. Then, he repented of his sins, at this moment, the heavens opened in his heart, he was set free. He remembered another verse from Isaiah, “Behold, this has touched your lips; your iniquity is taken away, and your sin purged.” Then, he heard the audible voice of the Lord speaking to him.
“Whom shall I send,
And who will go for Us?”
Issac in his heart spoke, Here am I, Lord! Send me.”
His life was beginning anew...he needed to talk to someone...
