CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

That's not really a "yes" or "no" question. But, I'm glad to answer it anyway.
My favorite subject when I was in still in college was physical education and team sports. But, now that I'm considerably older and long since done with learning in a school setting, my favorite subjectg to study is history and classic literature.

I totally get that. I have to read every day, or I don't feel like myself. It kind of sets the tone of my day. If I don't get a chance to read, I get kind of grumpy. I told my husband, it's a form of meditation in a way for me.

Depends on how large you want that body of water to be... ponds, creeks, yes. About half an hour away from the Ohio river... Not near any oceans or seas...I Wish!!!!

Unknown... I don't like turkey, but chicken is cooked in so many different foods! Beef is good too, but with pork it depends (in our home) who cooks it, and how they cooked it.
