The World Was a Lie.

[Lord I Believe]

I am a male in my early 30's.

I was raised Christian and got saved at 17.

Then I went out into the world and became of the world.

I thought I had everything! Many people considered me very successful.

But on the inside I was scared, insecure, anxious and angry.

Went to church before Easter and really prayed.

God revealed a lot about my life and way more than I wanted to know.

However, I needed to know it.

Now, I am on fire for Jesus and my whole life changed. Peace, love, joy and love is what I feel on the inside.

Nature looks more green and the sky looks more blue!

I am loving my life and praise Jesus every single day!

So much I can relate to.

We are in a long distance race. I had that moment you related at around 20 years old in the last year of the 1960s.

Yes, the grass, the trees, nature all seemed to be clearer and say to me "This is my Father's world."

Then I finally understood and was saved from many junky worldly things. I am over 70 now.

We are in a long distance race. Let me pass on a little fellowship.

The way you said the Lord shined upon you and told you about yourself, more than you wished . . .

Save yourself decades of mistakes and wandering.

START each day like this even if on a smaller scale. FIRST thing when your day begins have a short time LIKE this

you described on a miniture bases. START EVERY DAY like this. Let this be your FIRST transaction if possible

of your day. We only have TODAY. Yesterday is under the blood of Jesus. Tomorrow is not here.

Start your day by habit with a little revival like you discribed with the word of God. That will keep you in the LONG distance run

of this race. Hope you have good fellowship on the Forum.

And God seems to have fine tuned it so that one cannot make it alone.
This needing vital companionship, fellowship horizontally unavoidable.

Alone the Devil may be able to sift us out.
But with a praying partner or two he is unable to sift us.
A threefold wound chord is not easy to break.

There - two little words of advice.
1.) Start each day with a time with the Lord.
2.) Find one or two others you trust, dedicated to be spiritual co-travelers.
(Not about something else like baseball or politics or anything else BUT simply pursuing Christ)

Yes!!! Colors being more vivid! The sun is so bright and the sky is so beautiful. Green leave som trees are gorgeous!!!

This is truly our Father’s world!!!

Just wanted to share this.

Last Wednesday I went to church Bible Study by myself as my wife was working late.

The pastor’s wife was preaching that night. I sat in the very front because I get distracted easy.

The pastor’s wife greeted me and asked me about my testimony. I shared with her what I wrote in this thread.

However, I didn’t share how much on “fire I was for Jesus”. Which is what I wrote in this thread.

As she was preaching, in the middle of her serve she mentioned almost exact same words I used to describe what happened in this thread. She said, and so and so is now “on fire for Jesus!”.

At that moment I felt that the Holy Spirit was talking through her to me to share my story.

Our Bible Study was about sharing our story.
