Even in the middle of a breach of the capitol? I'm not sure harsh language was going to work, and resources were a wee bit slim to escort her down the station and book her. I haven't watched the video. It's tragic, but in that situation any of the protestors could have been shot, and I'm surprised more weren't. I think the capitol police used remarkable restraint overall. Unfortunately, restraint is only as good as the weakest link in this case. And when facing a mob, the mob is as dangerous as it's STRONGEST link.

The mob could have easily taken the white house if that was their intentions.

By the way, it hasn't gone unnoticed that the people who wrung their hands and bemoaned the deaths of George Floyd and other victims of police action, even going so far as to laud them as if they had been paragons of virtue, are strangely silent about this person's death under even less justifiable circumstances.

Instead, she becomes simply a tool in the never-ending campaign of lies against the current administration.
