  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

She made one of my favorite meals for me last night even though she couldn’t eat it herself because of her allergies. She is so selfless and loving. I don’t deserve her.

I appreciate how hard my husband is working right now. He is involved in a huge project, and he has to work long hours. Last night he had to have a business dinner that went past 8 pm. We didn't have much time together, and I was finding myself feeling a little grumpy. We both have long days right now but I certainly have more downtime that he does. I remember being upset that we couldn't spend a lot of time together when we were dating and engaged...separated at times by distance...now, we are together, and I guess I thought it would be different.
Anyway, I appreciate how hard he works and how much he loves his job.

Alex got off early the other day and instead of going home to relax he ran around grabbing things to make me a bubble bath when i got home. He found candles of my favorite flower, rose petals, a scrub brush that he rubbed my back with, some face masks and a nice wine. Such a sweet and thoughtful thing.

Been struggling with sore throat and other cold symptoms. I appreciate her voice of reason talking me into staying home from work. I always go no matter how bad I feel. But staying home the last couple of days has me bouncing back sooner that I expected.
