The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. May you be blessed today and each day.

thats great!A lot more than I thought I would after the great start this morning...this is the best it has been in over a year![]()
awesome!I've been forgetting to put that I've spent a little time reading my Bible and also the devotionals from church every day. I'm happy with myself for consistently doing this lately.
Lol.Today I have worn the ugliest shirt man ever created.
Okay, okay, so that wasn't my real accomplishment. I guess it would be that I wrote a letter that had been waiting to be written - although it was an enjoyable task!![]()
Post something you accomplished today here. It doesn't matter if it was something simple like "getting out of bed" or something difficult like not smoking all day.
I read one of your posts about when you were really depressed and you started doing small tasks and gradually increasing the daily tasks, and that motivated me to do so.
So, I have been making myself take a shower everyday, and yesterday I added some cleaning and light exercise, about a total of a hour, today I'm going to try to match that and gradually add more tasks.
Thanks for the encouragement
Daryl
