The General Mental Health Forum is now a Read Only Forum. As we had two large areas making it difficult for many to find, we decided to combine the Mental Health & the Recovery sections of the forum into Mental Health & Recovery as a whole. Physical Health still remains as it's own area within the entire Recovery area.
If you are having struggles, need support in a particular area that you aren't finding a specific recovery area forum, you may find the General Struggles forum a great place to post. Any any that is related to emotions, self-esteem, insomnia, anger, relationship dynamics due to mental health and recovery and other issues that don't fit better in another forum would be examples of topics that might go there.
If you have spiritual issues related to a mental health and recovery issue, please use the Recovery Related Spiritual Advice forum. This forum is designed to be like Christian Advice, only for recovery type of issues. Recovery being like a family in many ways, allows us to support one another together. Congratulations!I've had an OK week, started off bad, feeling depressed but I've had work for the last 2 days and so that's been an accomplishment just to get there.

Signed a police statement for a forth coming court hearing against anti-social behaviour....such a huge thing for me to take part of whilst having high levels of anxiety at the moment (due to the anti-social behavior!)

Did a bible study on depression, drove around on my stepdad's golf cart, fed catfish in a pond, made brownies and fixed my boyfriend dinner. Had much more I wanted to do. This is all I got done.

yesterday I did laundry, cleaned, and finished a book.. my foot is hurt so I did not work out

Hope your foot gets better soon, I know its tempting to return to exercise as soon as possible - but make sure your foot gets better first! I am a former long distance runner so know about how exercise gets addictive, hope you don't mind me commenting. I guess it may not even be a serious injury.maycontainnuts said:

You are right though -- I can't stand not being able to work out! Tomorrow I am going to go check out the neighborhood clubhouse and see if they have an exercise bike; maybe that won't bother my foot.

Let's see...I got up today (does that count as an accomplishment?). Relaxed outside...it was a GORGEOUS day out. Talked with one friend on AIM and talked with my stepdaughter on the phone. Ate dinner and going to do some cleaning up tonight.

did laundry, cleaned the bathroom, cleaned my room, dusted everything in my room, uploaded a bunch of pictures to facebook (a BUNCH), and set up my brother's game cube in my room (bc he has an xbox now and never plays his gamecube anymore)

went to church, went to my father's house, managed to love my family and not get into an argument with anyone, peeled some cucumbers, sliced some tomatoes, read my Bible study book, attended my discipleship class, encouraged other believers, fed my husband his dinner, now I'm looking for an interesting conversation

Woke up on time. Went to my counseling appointment. Got my perscription filled. Bought a necklace for a friend. Bought a necklace for me that fit (will exchange the other one later). Bought lunch for my boyfriend. Went to work. Covered a meeting. Got pics developed. They didn't turn out so found receipt and took them back to get my money back (will get developed again tomorrow at Walmart). Went to my boyfriends house to watch a movie. Read the paper. Watched Rescue Me. Called two friends. Went to visit one for a short time.
Will pray I get more done tomorrow!

Yesterday I worked out twice (in the pool and also at the gym), spent my "curves bucks" that I earned at the gym and got a new workout t-shirt, organized my photos, and taught my Mow about the internet and how to save pictures and send pictures in email.
