  • CF has always been a site that welcomes people from different backgrounds and beliefs to participate in discussion and even debate. That is the nature of its ministry. In view of recent events emotions are running very high. We need to remind people of some basic principles in debating on this site. We need to be civil when we express differences in opinion. No personal attacks. Avoid you, your statements. Don't characterize an entire political party with comparisons to Fascism or Communism or other extreme movements that committed atrocities. CF is not the place for broad brush or blanket statements about groups and political parties. Put the broad brushes and blankets away when you come to CF, better yet, put them in the incinerator. Debate had no place for them. We need to remember that people that commit acts of violence represent themselves or a small extreme faction.

It went really well!!! I think friendship is the most important thing to both of us right now and that is a good thing!!! We had lots of fun and we get on really well so I'm praying that whatever happens it will be good :)

Well this is what we did - i didn't say much last night because i was so tired!!!

On Friday we went bowling - I am so bad at that game, i got 19 points!! LOL then we went for dinner which was nice and on the way home we watched the sunset over a cliff which was really pretty :)

Saturday we went to the beach, looked around some shops first and walked along the pier which has some fairground rides - we went on the dodgem cars which I also cannot do - it was so funny. We sat and ate lunch on the beach while people watching, we are both people watchers. Then we stroked some donkeys and ate ice-cream which melted REALLY quckly in the 34c heat - and i spilt it on my top which JJ thought was funny. Then we went back to his house for dinner. At night we went to a suspension bridge and walked over that and all around the cliffs which was nice except he had to help me when I got stuck. He told me about his life (hasn't been easy either) and I told him about mine and he told me he was comfortable with me. Also on Saturday my hair got all blown about in the car and he said it looked nice LOL :) sweet huh???

Sunday was church and we didnt' really do much else, we went to a birthday party for one of the kids at night and played on a trampoline which was fun.

Overall it was a great weekend, lots of fun and getting to know you stuff!!!

i'm hoping to go through in September, we're both away before then, yes I did get nervous on the bus going to Bristol but once I was there I was fine!!! Thanks for all the advice :) And there was no uncomfortable silences, actually it felt right
