So I am close to finishing the Pilgrim's story. Today, in honor of what I've been reading, and to practice humility and thankfulness, and as an edifying experience, I decided to walk the 3 miles to and from work in the frigid cold and snow, while repeating the Jesus Prayer. I walked hand in hand with my Lord and my God.
I am so thankful to have a warm home to go to at the end of the day. I have a roof over my head, food in my belly, and money in my pocket. I spent a little over an hour out there; some people spend years and years. Some people have no home, no food, no money. Some people are perpetually cold.
What an experience. So much was learned.
