The solution to the craving for attention is in the doctrines of election and predestination. In eternity God fore loved and set His attention on me to be a specially chosen child of God. His love and attention singles me out as a specially chosen child of God. Therefore, I shouldn't crave the attention of others. I'm secure under the watching gaze of God. God is always paying attention to me. God sees when others don't. Though I'm nothing I got all the attention I need.
