Try to think of it in terms of how the wedding feast at Cana (Jn 2:1-12) was a sign that prefigures the wedding feast between Jesus and the Church (cf. Eph 5:32 and Rv 19:6-9).

Possibly. It was through her that He got here the first time around.

And I think there's a comparison to be made between Jesus' first miracle happening earlier than his "hour" (Jn 2:4) and how Jesus said the time of waiting will be "shortened" before the Second Coming (Mt 24:22).
