Dean how about you deal straight. Bes you intending to impose this no matter what response you get? Because frankly it would appreciate knowing whether you truly intend to listen or whether this bes a waste of its time BEFORE it puts all the time and energy into even bothering. Moriah does not care to be railroaded into anything under the lying auspices of the opposite taking place, and that bes not an indictment upon you merely a statement of what it bes tired of having foisted onto itself by humans determined to insult its intelligence and abusively force it to play along with that game.
You want it to think it out again when you have not done your part. You have not reviewed the history of this crap going back as far as last autumn. You have not seen the patterns, the same freaking names over and over again persecuting the few targets they singled out for this treatment repeatedly, constantly dancing from the Bully foot to the Crybaby foot to get their way. You have not truly understood or appreciated what these malicious, conniving individuals put some of us through. It bes not an issue of whether one can forgive & forget or not; it bes an issue of whether one bes willing to subject oneself to it all over again or not and MARK Moriah's words it will simply happen all over again and guess WHO will get hurt, it WON'T be the hard-nosed judgmental jerks instigating it. If one finds oneself in an abusive household, one can love the abuser with Christian charity, one can forgive them and even pity them for the wretch they bes, given over to such filth whats worse than to be crawling infested with demons in Moriah's opinion anyway, and one can pray for the ultimate reclamation of their souls in Christ. But one would still be smart to walk out that door and not look back until the very hands that cruelly bent and broke, beleagured and barraged, baited and beat, come crawling with the knees attached to the same body and ring YOUR bell and show you something different of their OWN accord.
Where bes the overtures from those who wrecked it, from those who behaved abusively against persons afflicted, persons judged unworthy by their snooty nostrils, persons targeted for driving off because their grasp of church politics AND scripture bes sufficient to be a "threat"? Where bes their recognition of what they did, their owning up to their garbage which necessitated a split in the first place? Where bes their repentance, their frank confessions, their willingness to make amends? It sees none of this. It sees an attempt to impose a false peace that will fail, one that will be even as scripture records: "when they shall say 'peace and safety', sudden destruction cometh..."
Show Moriah those guilty coming forth with a new different attitude and not one feigned so they can seize the prize of wearing a shiny denomination button on CF. Then maybe we can talk.
