I want all my students to keep track of how many stars they help others get this week and PM me next Saturday with the results...

I will consider your current Rep levels in evaluating the *winner*... Rep Prizes will be awared with at least ONE STAR guarenteed to the *winner* This is on the honor System... Please be honest...

The Winner will be asked for a link where they *post* to share the Reps...

Reps to this account will not help your chances of winning... (Probably shooting myself in the foot here... LOL)

The goal is to help others get Stars... Especially those who don't have any yet...

God Bless,

Dr. Ty

PS Please post here that you are participating by the end of this weekend... 3-2-08

Ty, are we differentiating between getting a star and getting to the equivalent million, or are you just talking about a star, because they are not the same.

For example, there is about 10,000 points difference between a star and it's equivalent million, multiplied by the number of stars. I.E. -- for 1 star, the star actually come at 990,000 points, but at 10 stars, the stars come at 9,900,000 points. Most don't feel official till they are actually at the equivalent million, and so many of us actually bump people up so that they are "official".

So, are you treating them the same, or are you just going to limit it to getting the stars?

For those following the thread... hopefully all those participating... LOL

Let's use the next 1,000,000 as the standard...

Thanks Dawn,

Dr. Ty

Repping the Founder, and Faculty too :)

So Ty all I have to do is keep a list of who I rep for a week?

No...

Keep track of how many people you help get their next Star... 1st, 6th, 20th etc...

So if you see someone with 980,000 reps and you rep them over a million that is 1...

If they have 5,965,000 and you rep them over 6 million that would count 1 also...

Then send me the count for the week next Saturday...;)

Dr Ty

PS Do please look for those looking for their 1st Star...

For the sake of this *competition* Next Star = the next 1,000,000 Rep points... so if you get someone over 1 mil, over 5mil, over 7 mil, etc.

God Bless,

Dr. Ty

Courses:

  1. Rep 101 [Prof. Rep Daddy]: This course is for those just entering the world of repaholism and need to learn the fundamentals of star acquisition.
  2. Woe is Me [Prof. A New Dawn]: This course will teach you how to magnify your own paltry troubles so that they eclipse even the hardships of the great sufferers like Paul and Mother Theresa. You can use this skill to, not just beg successfully for reps, but to get your friends to take pity on you and treat you to meals or movies that you would otherwise have to pay for yourself.

Note posting when giving Reps 101 [Prof. Dr. Gazelle]
This course will instruct folks on ways to give encouraging uplifting notes when givin someone a rep. This is a required course .
NOTE: Making derogatory remarks is a very BIG No-No.

When it comes to repping, there's not a lot of studying to do...

Just Do IT !! ;)

Dr. Ty

I would be an A+ student then, because I never have enough reps, even with 40 a day.

Sounds like a good class. Have fun with it!

* Looks around, trying to decide if another Assistant Professor is needed. (the professorship level for a low-rep Repzilla)

* Cannot tell.

* Tries to draft syllabus

Of course. Post your course/course description
