"The universe was created by a being beyond comprehension who 'just is'" does not explain anything. Your worldview not only fails to provide better explanatory power than what is proposed by atheists, but you also assert the existence of an entity for which there is no evidence and whose existence does not clarify the problem one bit.
Instead of solving the problem, you allow the problem to persist and you add in a ridiculous claim. Your worldview is less viable than mine.
As I've said before.
For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who by their unrighteousness suppress the truth. For what can be known about God is plain to them, because God has shown it to them. For his invisible attributes, namely, his eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly perceived, ever since the creation of the world, in the things that have been made. So they are without excuse.

I can't help it if you refuse to see it.
Here's the bottom line. It's not my job to convince you. God said you should be convinced by nature. My job is to tell you the truth. The rest is up to you. No where am I told in scripture that I have to come up,with the ultimate intellectual argument to convince all,men of the truth of God. All the bible tells me to do is to know the word and share the word and give A reason why I believe. I have done that.
The bible tells us that seeking and finding God is a matter of The heart and not just the head. Nature tells you there is a God. Seeking and finding God has to be done with the heart not just the mind. No Christian can convince you with intellectual arguments. If they, could no one would have to believe or have faith. That is a matter of The heart.
God said in scripture of you seek me you will, find me if You seek me with all your heart. Note it says seek God. You have to actually seek after him Not other things. Not intellectual arguments or philosophical thoughts, but God himself. If you found him, once then rejected him then you may be out of luck a second time around.
For it is impossible, in the case of those who have once been enlightened, who have tasted the heavenly gift, and have shared in the Holy Spirit, and have tasted the goodness of the word of God and the powers of the age to come, and then have fallen away, to restore them again to repentance, since they are crucifying once again the Son of God to their own harm and holding him up to contempt. For land that has drunk the rain that often falls on it, and produces a crop useful to those for whose sake it is cultivated, receives a blessing from God. But if it bears thorns and thistles, it is worthless and near to being cursed, and its end is to be burned.
