Not only is their inability to know right from wrong, more importantly I think is their inability to repent. The devil and the demons know they are wrong, but they can not repent.
The Bible calls repentance a GIFT from God. So if someone is not given this gift ... if it is withheld from them ... who is responsible? Can any one of us repent without it being given of God for him to do so? Dare we presume to speak against scripture which states we are all gone backward, turned away, our hearts deceitful above all, etc.? But then if any CANNOT repent, it must and can only be because God refuses to grant that gift to them. So who's making the choices and calling the shots now?

Blasphemy is a act or action

Main Entry: blas·phe·my
Pronunciation: 'blas-f&-mE
Function: noun
Inflected Form(s): plural -mies
1 a : the act of insulting or showing contempt or lack of reverence for God b : the act of claiming the attributes of deity
2 : irreverence toward something considered sacred or inviolable

Some US states still have blasphemy laws on the books from the founding days. Chapter 272 of the Massachusetts General Laws states, for example:
Section 36. Whoever willfully blasphemes the holy name of God by denying, cursing or contumeliously reproaching God, His creation, government or final judging of the world, or by cursing or contumeliously reproaching Jesus Christ or the Holy Ghost, or by cursing or contumeliously reproaching or exposing to contempt and ridicule, the holy word of God contained in the holy scriptures shall be punished by imprisonment in jail for not more than one year or by a fine of not more than three hundred dollars, and may also be bound to good behavior.

This definition is modern and not the definition found in the Bible. When the religious leaders accused JESUS of blasphemy, they defined it as, "Thou, being a man, makest thyself out to be God." Blasphemy in the Gospel sense of the word is equating oneself with God or putting oneself on equal footing with God. I got kicked off a website recently because the admin there did not understand some statements I made concerning some of my personal beliefs about things and decided I was "blaspheming" under this definition.

Now, what is a sin that leads to death? A sin so permanent that it prevents even God from intervening with life? It sounds like the same sin that Jesus was speaking of in Matthew 12, referenced on the first page. Matthew 12:30 - 32:

What is the unpardonable sin? Is it shunning the Holy Spirit as is clearly indicated? Is it worshipping a false God, which also seems fairly clear? Is it a combination?

I don't know but I know what I wish it was: I wish it was the sin of attempting to subtly program other people with the belief they have committed this thing, which then acts as a deadly curse against them, eating up first hope, then volition, then sanity. You might wish to consider WHO goes about as a roaring lion seeking WHOM HE MAY DEVOUR.....

The highlighted part is the definition of blasphemy in the Bible.
If that were true it could not mention blaspheming against the Holy Ghost. Please try not to make unsubstantiated claims.

My understanding of blasphemy against the HS is attributing the work of the HS to being that of Satan. The reason Jesus spoke about it in the first place was because the Pharisees and other religious leaders were saying of HIM that He was possessed and did magick through the power of "Beelzebub". Which of course was NOT true; He was (is) the only begotten Son of God and did His works through the power of His Father.
